Below is a review of four additional southeastern Pennsylvania prospects from our updated 2025 rankings who we would send a college scholarship offer right now.
#36… Jordan Ellerbee Jordan Ellerbee 6'2" | CG St. Joseph’s Prep | 2025 State PA – 6’2” / St. Joe’s Prep / NJ Scholars EYBL / Combo Guard: In August of 2023 we noted that 2023-24 was going to be a breakout season for Ellerbee. This multi-skilled two-way guard made us look good by averaging 14.7 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.5 dimes per contest while shooting 35% from behind the arc. Ellerbee’s impressive stat line earned him 1st Team All-PCL as well as 3rd Team All-Area honors. In addition to scoring at every level, Ellerbee can run as a primary ball handler and is a plus defender. Drexel and Albany have already offered Ellerbee, but more schools should be on to this talented prospect.
#51… Zeke Staz Zeke Staz 6'7" | C Downingtown West | 2025 State PA – 6’7″ / Downingtown West / K-Low Elite / Small Forward: In 2023-24 this talented stretch-4 prospect was a 1st Team All Ches-Mont League selection after he averaged 15.5 points and 10 rebounds per night. Simply put, Staz is a matchup nightmare. He can knock down jumpers from the baseline to the elbows to the arc. He can use dribble drives to blow past larger defenders. Or Staz can physically overpower guards who defend him 1v1. He notched a season high 28 points against WC East. College coaches should be all over this athletic prospect who combines a polished offensive skill set with tenacious rebounding and solid rim protection.
#130… Matt McCarthy Matt McCarthy 6'2" | SG Episcopal Academy | 2025 State PA – 6’2″ / Episcopal Academy / East Coast Power / Shooting Guard: During his junior campaign McCarthy proved to be one of the craftiest off the bounce scoring threats in SEPA. His change of direction and speed abilities are incredible. However, even more impressive is McCarthy’s patience and ability to maintain his dribble until he finds a high percentage scoring / assist opportunity. When he is not scoring off lay-ins, floaters and bank shots, McCarthy is distributing to teammates and draining threes. McCarthy (2nd Team All-Inter-Ac) posted 14.5 ppg., 6.5 rpg. and 4apg. while shooting 39% from deep. He scored a season high 28 points (2 threes) vs. Penn Charter.
#173… Antwone George Antwone George 6'2" | CG Conwell-Egan | 2025 State PA – 6’2” / Conwell-Egan / Philly Revolution / Combo Guard: This winter George proved to be an ultra-quick, change of direction guard who consistently attacked the basket off the dribble. George can score off the bounce via pull-up jumpers, floaters, and creative finishes at the rim. In 2023-24 George contributed 14.5 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists per game. He registered several double doubles this season. George’s 25 points (1 three) and 19 rebounds performance in FJ’s win over WC Rustin created a substantial recruiting buzz for him.
