[player_tooltip player_id='2043210' first='Mason' last='Smith'] commits to Furman

It didn't take long for [player_tooltip player_id='2043210' first='Mason' last='Smith'] to find a new landing spot since decommitting from Mercer University following their coaching change. He'll instead join the Furman Paladins in the Southern Conference. Smith has seen his stock grow a ton in the state of North Carolina following an NCISAA state title victory with Davidson Day. Look for him to make an impact right away given his size/presence at 6-foot-7 and ability to knock down shots on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1343876' first='Jayan' last='Walker']'s list continues to grow

Combine Academy's [player_tooltip player_id='1343876' first='Jayan' last='Walker'] continues to draw the intrigue of DI programs on all levels as his offer list continues to grow. Indiana State, Kennesaw State and Utah State are the latest college programs to offer him following his productive weekend with [program_tooltip program_id='2225832' first='Team' last='Curry'] on the OTR stage. He's a knockdown shooter who can create off the bounce with ease given his strong frame and smooth shooting stroke. It will be interesting to see where he lands!

New Movers to the 2025 Class

[player_tooltip player_id='1731146' first='Cal' last='Barrett'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2213545' first='Joshua' last='Dalton'] are two sizeable names to keep an eye on in the state of North Carolina as both move into the 2025 class. Both should see a nice uptick in their recruitment this spring/summer as they get things going on the grassroots scene with their respective squads.

Dalton will look to make his presence felt in a loaded [program_tooltip program_id='2234929' first='1' last='of 1 Elite'] frontcourt this grassroots cycle following a state-championship to conclude his high school career. He put up 22 points and four rebounds for Central Cabarrus as they made it back-to-back state title victories. At 6-foot-9, Dalton has shown he can operate inside and out with his length, athleticism and ability to handle the basketball.

Barrett will look to make an impact as he joins Moravian Prep/YNG Dreamerz on the OTE stage. He's another versatile forward presence who's shown he can step out on the perimeter and operate as an attacker just as well as he can run rim to rim. He produced 8.4 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 3.3 APG and 2.1 BPG on 31 percent shooting from deep as a senior. While drawing a ton of interest from DII and DIII programs already, another year of development could raise his status a lot more in the 2025 class given the current recruiting landscape.

[player_tooltip player_id='949379' first='Isaiah' last='Washington'] Still Available

College programs in need of a sure-fire scoring threat who isn't afraid to create for themselves, look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='949379' first='Isaiah' last='Washington']. Washington has shown he can knock down shots with consistency on the perimeter, create for others within the offense and touch the paint where he's tough to stop at the rim. He's a wiry prospect still looking for a home as an unsigned senior prospect. DI and DII programs in the region would be wise to get eyes on him!
