Walker is another prospect in the Combine Academy/BlueChecks fold who’s still an available DI prospect. He’s currently producing 11.2 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 3.2 APG and 1.0 SPG on the OTE stage this season for his squad. He’s shown he can operate at both guard roles as well as a facilitator and scorer. He posted 12 points, seven assists and six rebounds in their overtime victory over YNG Dreamerz. Radford, High Point, St. Bonaventure, UNC-Greensboro and a number of other LM/MM programs have offered him.

Jayan Walker is a prospect who grew as a mid-major prospect over the grassroots season with 1 of 1 Elite and really blossomed when he joined Garner Road on the 3SSB stage. He’s an impressive 6-foot-4 wing who isn’t afraid to operate in isolation, utilizing his frame and ball-handling to knock down easy shots. Look for his stock to grow in 2023-24 in North Carolina after averaging 17.2 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 1.8 SPG and 1.3 APG on 50 percent shooting from the floor at Millbrook High this past year.

Middle Tennessee State, Mount Saint Mary’s, Florida International, Marshall, Arkansas State, Robert Morris and Iona are the latest schools to offer him. He’s a menace in the mid-range area that utilizes his frame well to use his size to rise of defenders and knock down shot after shot in the halfcourt. He won’t hesitate to get to the paint and make things happen in traffic, either.

Jayan Walker Jayan Walker 6'5" | SG Combine Academy | 2024 State NC continues to impress as he joins the GRBC 3SSB fold as a wing presence. He’s unstoppable when he’s working in the midrange and utlizing his strong frame to score easy buckets around the rim. He knocked down seven 3-pointers to lead the 17U division in 3-pointers made at OneDay Bump 7. He finished with 16.0 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 3.0 apg and 1.5 bpg across their two appearances in the event as he showed he could be a presence on both ends of the floor. Millbrook high school in Raleigh, N.C., has cemented itself as one of the triangle’s most accomplished programs. At 6’5″, Jayan Walker Jayan Walker 6'5" | SG Combine Academy | 2024 State NC is an elite playmaker who has an abundance of scoring weapons in his arsenal. Walker is an athletic, crafty guard who is one of the premier scorers in his class. He is an explosive driver who can finish at the rim, a consistent mid-range shooter who can knock down contested looks, and a lethal spot-up shooter from behind the arc. Walker is the number 1 offensive weapon on any team. He has a high basketball IQ and excels in big-time moments. He can take over games and close them out when need be.
