BNB is back again this grassroots season and features an exciting roster. The development of talent in the program is key. BNB consistently helps players develop their games with skills that are transferable to the next level. We’re going to give you 3 players to watch for the BNB 16u squad.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
“Jaden Farmer returns from a great grassroots season last summer for BNB. He was the leading scorer and assist man. Great shooter, ball handler and escapability. While small in size he plays big! He will start for Caledonia next season after sitting out due to his transfer from East Kentwood.” – Coach Thompkins
Farmer was impressive last spring and summer. Ignore his size, because if he’s 2 feet or 10 feet tall, his skill set will win games. Farmer is super quick and smooth and tough for defenders to stay in front of.
Highlights
CJ McBride
CJ McBride
“CJ McBride is another great guard. He played varsity this past season. He’s able to create his own shot. He’s a clutch player as well scoring game winners and go ahead buckets in close games last summer for BNB. He will have a big summer.” – Coach Thompkins
McBride will turn some heads this spring and summer. He will showcase his ability to create in the half court as well as the open floor. McBride will see the ball in some big moments and will show that he’s a player to put on some radars.
Braylen Huff
Braylen Huff
“One of the best unknown players will be Braylen Huff. He is a 6’1 forward who is the best 3 point shooter on the team. He was called up to play several varsity games for Lee High School this past season. He is also comfortable posting up and scoring inside.” – Coach Thompkins
Huff is a versatile forward with tons of upside. He will provide consistent matchup issues with opponents all season long. This is the type of player that could have a breakout grassroots season with BNB.
