Another excellent Prep Hoops Circuit event is officially in the books as The Stage wrapped up on Sunday afternoon between two beautiful venues (Pacers Athletic Center and Farmers Bank Fieldhouse). As always, we had boots on the ground coverage from the opening tip until the final buzzer all weekend long. We will have more content in the coming days including All-Tournament teams, stock-risers, new names, and more. However, for now, let's empty out the notebook and take a closer look at what we saw on Sunday specifically.

8:00 a.m. Crew Standouts

A staple of Ramsey's Notebook is giving some special attention to those prospects who get out of bed and hit the ground running. There certainly was no shortage of strong play in the first round of games on Sunday as the Pacers Athletic Center was rocking from 8:00 a.m. sharp. [player_tooltip player_id='2053679' first='Evan' last='Mozingo'] (Pendleton Heights H.S. 2025) was the first prospect to really stand out showcasing his catch-and-shoot ability with a handful of first half three-point shots for [program_tooltip program_id='2075895' first='Team' last='Future'] 2025. He also put the ball on the floor, drove it along the baseline, and finished strong off of two feet. Mozingo is a solid all-around offensive talent. Another prospect who stood out to begin the morning on Sunday was Julian Macon (St. Petersburg H.S. 2025) for the Q6 All-Stars 2025 out of Florida. This 6'6" forward is incredibly long, bouncy around the basket, and was super active despite the 8:00 a.m. tip-off. Macon was consistently finishing at the rim and rebounding his area. [player_tooltip player_id='2245730' first='Nate' last='Tyler'] (Yorktown H.S. 2025) was very good for [program_tooltip program_id='2075895' first='Team' last='Future'] 2025 as well scoring 16 points in their win over Mike Glennon Elite 2025.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat']-Competitive Greatness Holds on to Defeat [program_tooltip program_id='2414167' first='502' last='Elite']

An excellent back-and-forth affair, [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat']-Competitive Greatness had to come back, and then hold on, to defeat [program_tooltip program_id='2414167' first='502' last='Elite'] 2025 out of the Louisville Area 78-69. [player_tooltip player_id='2053665' first='Kyson' last='Neddenriep'] (Brownsburg H.S. 2025) had a couple of stretches where he got hot from beyond the arc finishing with a game-high 24 points on five three-pointers. The 5'9" point guard also showcased some ability to create off of the dribble with a few creative finishes and great passes to open teammates. [player_tooltip player_id='2277740' first='Aden' last='Daugherty'] (Mt. Vernon Fortville H.S. 2025) added 16 points in the win as well.

Meanwhile, in the loss for [program_tooltip program_id='2414167' first='502' last='Elite'], Cameron Busby (Collins H.S. 2025) led the way with 19 points. Ashton Foreman (Eastern H.S. 2025) added 15 points while a couple of three-point shots and a few athletic drives to the basket. [program_tooltip program_id='2414167' first='502' last='Elite'] made a great comeback around the midway point and built a relatively comfortable lead, but couldn't hold off a skilled [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat']-Competitive Greatness team.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 2025 Caps Off Undefeated Weekend

Two very talented teams from the Hoosier state faced each other to finish the weekend at The Stage on Sunday afternoon. A bit of a sloppy stretch by [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 2025 in the early second half allowed Indiana Ambition 2025 to cut into their deficit and make it a close game into the final minutes, but ultimately [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] held on and pulled away to win 81-66 to finish the weekend 4-0.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297034' first='Hudson' last='Horvath'] (Park Tudor 2025) led a group of four scorers in double-figures in this contest with 22 points. He had a few narrowly miss as well, but still connected on four three-point shots including a couple of really impressive ones off of the dribble. Horvath's all-around playmaking ability off of the dribble was on full display not just on Sunday, but throughout the weekend as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1297043' first='Jack' last='Turner'] (Southport H.S. 2025) added 14 points which included four three-point shots while [player_tooltip player_id='1749499' first='Tavion' last='Williams'] (Ben Davis H.S. 2025) and Tyreese Burnett (Decatur Central H.S. 2025) each chipped in 11 points.

For Indiana Ambition, [player_tooltip player_id='1297123' first='Jay' last='Summitt'] (Evansville Harrison H.S. 2025) put a bow on an excellent weekend scoring a team-high 15 points. His athleticism, length, and versatile defensive ability really stands out in this setting. [player_tooltip player_id='1297040' first='Jace' last='Jenkins'] (Princeton H.S. 2025) contributed 12 points while [player_tooltip player_id='1578406' first='Jakob' last='Wongler'] (Castle H.S. 2025) added 11 points.

Quick Hitters

Logan Steffensmeier (Sheboygan North H.S. 2025) was one of the more impressive big men in the gym this weekend at The Stage. The 6'7" forward for the Wisconsin Crusaders is very mobile for his, rim runs hard, and can drive it at you to his right hand from the perimeter. Definitely a name for small college programs to know.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297003' first='Chris' last='Terry'] (Lawrence North H.S. 2025) had a strong weekend for INB Elite 2025. The 6'4" forward is very physical and bouncy around the rim. He consistently rebounds his area, finishes at a high percentage inside, and is a good interior defender.

In arguably the best back-and-forth individual matchup of the weekend, [player_tooltip player_id='2383511' first='Noah' last='Sowders'] (The Frankfort Christian Academy 2024) and Jancinth Prude (Hazelwood Central) each scored over 40 points according to unofficial GameChanger stats. Sowders was absolutely one of the best unsigned seniors at the event and had a great showing for [program_tooltip program_id='2356548' first='Crossover' last='Hoops'] 2025. Meanwhile, Prude and the Gateway Knights Basketball Club 2025 came up a bit short on the scoreboard despite an excellent individual performance.

No writeup from Sunday, or really this weekend in general, would be complete without mentioning [player_tooltip player_id='1864640' first='Sam' last='Frazier'] (Ballard H.S. 2025) and what he did for [program_tooltip program_id='2335148' first='Kentuckiana' last='Hoops']-Sprigg 2025. The 6'3" guard was one of the top pure shooters and scorers at The Stage culminating in a perfect 4-0 weekend which included scoring 23 points on Sunday afternoon. His teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1513540' first='Julian' last='Miles'] (South Oldham H.S. 2025) got hot in their 94-51 win over [program_tooltip program_id='2082760' first='Reps317' last=''] 2025 connecting on seven three-point shots on his way to joining Frazier with 23 points. Those two guys can flat out shoot the basketball.
