Or they were all-around great prospects, all matters considered. Prep Hoops will mention as many notable standout prospects as possible. We will have a long list of standouts. First, we start with prospects from MN Blue Chips, one from Northstar Titans Terhaar, and a breakout performer from Minnesota Takeoff.
The smooth lefty guard can put the ball in the hoop and defend. Plays smart defensive pressure and can easily contain a ball-handler. A sturdy frame and overall a very controlled player that doesn’t get phased by the speed of other guards. An accurate and smooth jumper from three and finishes around the hoop well, able to contort the ball in mid-air. Also, did a good job finishing at the hoop strongly off of two feet.

Anunda is an athletic freak that plays with strength. He can fly all over the court and gain ground quickly. On the offensive side, he was looking to get to the hoop with quickness, athleticism, and strength. Used a spin move and elevated over the D to score. One of the top leapers in the 15U group.
Highlights
Green is a quick, low to the ground point guard. Has a good handle on the ball and gets the ball where it needs to go, cleanly. Can hit a three and get to the rack. Gets low defensively and will pressure the ball full-court. Quick defensive hands. Will push the tempo in transition as well. I thought he played bigger than he is and brought a lot of toughness around the hoop. Wasn’t afraid of contact at the hoop.
Waleed is a highly mobile and agile defender. He’s capable in all areas of the game with three-level scoring ability, but his mobility and movement clearly are his best attributes.
Owen has decent size and is a solid rebounder that can jump and move pretty well. He’s capable of boarding the ball and pushing in transition on his own. I thought he played hard with a lot of effort, competing for the ball all over the court.
Highlights
Akan is a point guard that can create on his own as a scorer. A quick handle on the ball and crossover to get by his initial on-ball defender. Got to the hoop and created contact to get to the line. He’d attack the hoop relentlessly and keep going until he was stopped.
Highlights
Though a smaller guard, Elliot was one of most skilled prospects and top three-point makers. Making shots goes a long ways, and that’s what he did. A consistent stroke, and per a source, he scored 80 points in four games.
