William Arriaga
William Arriaga
6’5 2027 William Arriaga was one of the toughest kids I seen all weekend in the post area. He has nice size maybe even 6’6 in person. Excellent rebounder on both sides of the ball and created multiple extra possessions for the offense. Good footwork downlow and can even run the floor and handle the ball if needed. A big bonus was his shooting ability, he will knock down the 3 if left open. William is somebody to radar now his overall impact was major for his team.
6’7 2027 Jack Pederson Jack Pederson Tomball HS | 2027 TX was a standout before the game even started based on his size. He was efficient grabbing rebounds and showed some skill with his footwork when scoring. He can also put it on the floor and make it happen if needed on his way to the rim. Most impressive he talks and operated the defense and rotations ALL game which you don’t see too much from the low post position. Overall an impressive prospect to watch development wise over the next few years.
6’5 Jaeron Banton was tough tough for the Oklahoma Icons Elite program. His size is dominating like a tackle in football that runs the floor like a defensive lineman. I watch him take over the game with his team clearing out for isolation over and over. He finishes everything around the rim and every time I looked up I heard “And 1.” Defensively his frame is a issue for most guards and post players looking to get comfortable in the lane, he changes the whole dynamic with his impact and even blocks a few shots a game as well. Make sure to have him on your radar he should be making some major noise in Oklahoma soon.
Ashton Jimenez
Ashton Jimenez
6’5 Ashton Jimenez also gave that football type feel with a large frame that makes it tough for anyone to key in on him. He was efficient rebounding on both sides for Flash Elite and changed the game with his ability to knock down midrange shots in the half court offense. Super mobile, he will be a problem with continued development on his skills. Make sure to have him on your radar for the summer.
6’4 2027 Jack Krantzcke Jack Krantzcke Tomball HS | 2027 TX caught my eye as a tough stretch 4 type prospect that could develop to a wing very soon. Long wingspan around the basket impacting shots left and right defensively. Shot blocker is a understatement as he seems to play with a chip on his shoulder defensively. Super mobile, can step out and guard the perimeter as well. Offensively he most of his work comes from putbacks or midrange drives to the basket, overall just impressive this weekend and one to radar moving forward.
