Deaun Leonard
Deaun Leonard
Deaun Leonard showed his ability to slash inside the paint for easy baskets during his game against Dash Elite 2027 coming away with 19 points in a comeback victory. He is an athletic guard that came out of this game with a couple chase down blocks. Defensively he communicated well with his teammates as he held the paint down in the 2-3 zone. He distributed the ball well to teammates for open shots. Also, he showed the ability to play good defense on the ball using his wingspan to stay active while opposing players had the ball in their hands. Deaun plays with a lot of energy as he followed his shots in the paint for offensive rebound opportunities giving his team second chance opportunities.
Michale Price used his physical tools well to create space from his defenders while attacking the basket. He likes to pull up for jumpers in the midrange area, making a couple in this game against North Houston Hustle 2027. On multiple possessions he made the right passes in the half court and in transition to open teammates. I will be keeping Michale on my radar for the rest of his high school tenure.
Highlights
Micah Wolfe
Micah Wolfe
Micah Wolfe pushed the ball up the floor well after his team got stops against the Underrated Prospects on the defensive end to start transition opportunities on offense. He plays at a fast pace a majority of the time while handling the ball. Playmaking wise he showed the ability to make good passes on offense in this game as he got recorded some assists as well.
Pano Palumbis Pano Palumbis 6’3″ | CG St. John XXIII College Preparatory | 2025 TX is a good 3-point shooter knocking down multiple 3-point shots against TNBA Houston NXT coming away with 30 points. He is constantly moving on the offensive end, cutting and relocating to different spots on the floor to set up wide open opportunities for himself. When rebounding he hustles for them on both ends of the floor especially on offense giving his team second chance opportunities. He is a player that makes smart reads and makes good decisions. On multiple possessions he showed the ability to attack the basket offensively as well. While attacking the basket he drew a lot of fouls that got him to the free throw line a number of times. I expect him to have a solid senior year in high school next season. Pano was 1st team all district last year as a junior.
John Joern III
John Joern III
John Joern III was on fire in his game against the Lafayette Celtics knocking down multiple 3 point shots. He can score on all 3 levels on offense. He moves well without the ball in his hands as he got shielded after catching on fire but adjusted well against the defense by still scoring coming away with 27 points.
Jamal Drewery aggressively attacked the rim in transition and is not afraid of contact, going to the free throw line multiple times against the Tarheels. Displaying his playmaking ability, he has good vision especially in transition as he keeps his head up to find open teammates running with him. Defensively he slid his feet well against the opposing guards. He is a guard that knows how to switch between a fast and slow tempo on offense as he doesn’t force anything if it the opportunity to score doesn’t present itself. His IQ for the game was really impressive. His team went undefeated the whole weekend at the Bigfoot Hoops tournament and he made an impact on those wins for sure.
