Several high-level athletes showed up to hoop and teams made their presence known in a big way. The competition only continued to build as the day went on and rivalries got more heated. Let’s explore the games of some athletes who went above and beyond to help their teams in critical contests.

- Knows his spots on the offensive end…he is always moving even without the ball in his hands.
- Can create space from his defender with a few moves, then pull up off the dribble. Effective sniper from deep range and will make his matchup pay if he is left wide open.
- Sound, fundamental defender. Doesn’t get beat often and will stay on his man like glue. His vocality on this side of the ball is highly underrated.

- Was the best shooter on the court on Saturday for his Tx Takeover team. Can beat the defense off a screen or pulling up from a signature stepback jumper.
- Big time motivational leader whenever he is on the court on both ends. Never got frustrated with his teammates and continued to be physical and unrelenting with defensive pressure.
- His playmaking is very underrated as well with the way he can change pace when the ball is in his hands. Ability to see the floor at a high level.
- t
- Uses his size extremely well on offense. Can box out opponents with ease and grab rebounds as well as score underneath the basket with either a layup or a rim rocking dunk.
- Knows how to keep his teammates involved on offense and make plays without even scoring. Had several hard screens that allowed his guard to get free and create enough space to score the rock. Also an effective fastbreak passer.
- The way he runs the floor in transition very well could have been the most underappreciated part of his game. He knows how to get down the floor with great speed for a big man and is efficient in attacking the basket and finishing through contact.

- Possesses great court awareness on the offensive side of the ball, always knows where his teammates are. Can score the ball or dish to an open teammate for an easy assist.
- Functions as one of the vocal leaders on this UA Rise squad. His intensity and passion he plays the game with is a big reason why his team had several wins this weekend.
- Has deceptive athletic ability to block shots with good timing, as well as speed to beat his matchup down the court for easy points in transition.

- Easily the best hustle player on the court whenever he is active on both ends. Size does not define this hooper, as he will work harder than every other player on the floor.
- Had a huge triple-double on Friday night, showing that he can excel in all aspects of the game: rebounding, scoring, and playmaking. He is the most vocal hooper on HABC, always keeping his teammates in the game and finding ways for others to make an impact.
- His court awareness IQ on offense is next level as he can make no look passes appear easy. He had several of these on Friday as he slung the ball to teammates wide open cutting to the basket or on the perimeter.
