Jayden Mills | 6’6” F | New World ’26
Mills was consistent for New World’s HGSL squad throughout the event, making plays on both ends of the floor and showed a lot of upside moving forward this summer. At 6’6” he’s a hybrid forward who can guard multiple positions and is a good rebounder, he gets a lot of second chance opportunities and he’s a mismatch with his ball skills at his size.
Cole Perez | 6’4” WG | AKT ’26
Perez is one of those players on a stacked PVI team that many don’t know about, but moving forward he could be an important part for them as he showed a good skillset and a lot of upside. He has good size on the wing and works well to get open off the ball, he can knock down shots from deep at a high clip and he has good footwork off the bounce to get to the pull-up and finish around the rim.
Gilbert Osaka | 6’8” PF | DC Premier ’27
Osaka is one to keep an eye on moving forward for this DCP team, as he has a great base skillset with a lot of room to get better moving forward. He already has a good frame and is physical in the paint with the ability to overpower defenders, he is mobile and can get up and down the floor and he plays with a good motor on both ends of the floor as well.
Mazari Browne | 6’4” CG | Team Thrill ’27
Brown was very impressive for a very talented Thrill team, as he showed has the ability to be one of the top scorers in the Baltimore area over the next few years at Mt. Carmel. At 6’4” he’s a big guard with an advanced skillset as he can handle and break down defenders in isolations, he can knock down shots from all three levels and he is a good rebounder and defender as well.
Mojok Makyei | 7’0” C | Global Squad ’27
Makyei is easily one of the most intriguing 2027 prospects I’ve seen this year, and it’s easy to see why as he stands a legit 7 feet tall and is just scratching the surface with how good he can be. He towers over defenders and his length and size allows him to alter shots without even having to jump, he dunks everything he can in the paint (which is a lot) and he has plenty of time to continue to develop offensively.
