The Ravens are absolutely stacked with D1 guards and it looks as if they are hiding another one in their rotation. We believe Bess should carve out a bigger role next season and should be asked to contribute more. Bess is athletic, can score over guards, drives by defenders, can defend multiple positions and can play above the rim. This offseason should be a big one for the rising Junior who definitely has D1 potential we just have to see how much of a jump he can make.
Thompson was one of the key scorers for Mount this past season and could have an even bigger year in 2024-2025. He is a big guard who rebounds well, can score inside, is an above average defender and creates a bunch of matchup problems for opposing defenses. His decision making got better throughout the year, he was way more engaged, more effective with the ball and made more winning plays.
If you know us or have ever read our storiees about Stepinac you know we love the Ratliff twins. While Adonis saw a bit more playing time we wanted to focus on Darius in this article. He is unicorn type build with his ability to create, shoot threes, score around the rim and block shots. This offseason should give him an opportunity to expand his game a little bit which we can’t wait to see. We should see both Darius and his brother get an uptick in time and opportunity next year for the Crusaders as they both become stars in 2026.
The Vikings had a good year in the league and did a great job developing their young guys. We loved what the young guard Rebracca brought the mix for Joes as one of their primary scorers this past season. His confidence grew each game, he made a ton of shots, had moments where he was the best player on the floor plus gained some great experience. Rebracca seems to be one of the bright emerging stars in the CHSAA A division and it could be three more tough years for Vikings opponents.
