Played so well this morning that I had to write about him again. After falling behind double digits early, Barnes took over. Converting a pair of difficult layups in addition to a spot-up three and a baseline fadeaway. Tying the game on a 10-0 run. As the game went on, he to attack the basket with an explosive first step. Drawing fouls and converting his free throws. Also hit another dribble pull-up after utilizing some excellent ball-work to free himself up. But his playmaking was just as impressive. Was a huge part of a big 2nd half run. Led all scorers with 24 pts.
An underrated Indy Game prospect. Shot the ball at a consistent clip and got guys involved heavily as a playmaker. He also blocked a shot over a taller opponent in the 2nd half. Scored 17 points.

A player I could have written about on Saturday. The 6’7” F knocked down a three from up top in the opening minutes vs Full Package. At the same time, he’s evolved as a strong interior presence. Yesterday, he worked well off the pick-and-roll and three down several dunks vs Indiana Game . Today, he cut off several passes and was an active contributor on the boards. Also hit another outside shot in the second half.
Highlights
Took over late in the game vs Full Package. In addition to some stellar 3-point shooting, he caught my attention with a pair of turnaround midrange jumpers. Finished with 15 pts.
Lengthy 6’6” F for Crusaders. Really intrigued by his ability to defend on the ball, as he found plenty of success guarding all five positions. He also scored consistently inside while adding a smooth turnaround jumper in the closing minutes. Also showed he can shoot well from deep. 14 points.

Four ferocious dunks in a row gave Team Herro a quick 12-point cushion vs All-In. His ability to move all over the floor and get up from so many angles was present. Blocked a shot a short time later. Eventually finished with 17 in a dominant win.
Jake Broeske

Coming off the bench, Broeske did a sensational job defending the rim and boxing out on the glass. Dropped a smooth dime and showed underrated post moves. Made some solid runs in transition later on for a few more points. Then hit a three in the closing minutes.
Beloit-native finished with 16 points to end the weekend. Hit a pair of back-to-back 3’s to start and made plenty of plays in transition later on. Also made really strong reads defensively and was a good playmaker on the run. Scored a weekend-high 16 points vs All-In
