Jacob Rice ( Chicago Hoops 17U)
Rice is originally from Illinois and the former St. Laurence product returned to play with many of his former high school teammates. The shooting guard has good strength and a smooth all-around offensive game. He can score from all three levels including with a feathery jumper from two and three.
Leshawn Brown (United Hoops 17U)
Brown is a prospect we really liked over the weekend. The shooting guard from Wisconsin is a rangy athlete that was impactful putting it on the deck for scores off the bounce finishing an array of and-1s along with reverse layups. Plus athlete can defend multiple positions. Also flashes as a shooter including hitting one off a DHO.
Kaycee Guzeman (United Hoops 17U)
Strong and stocky combo guard that uses his toughness in the lane for scores. He is a smaller guard but with his strength can score through contact in the lane making difficult layups along with knocking in mid-range jumpers.
Brody Schimpa (Five Star Basketball 17U)
Really liked what we saw out of this wing from Michigan. He is a plus shot maker that rained in threes all day long from beyond the arc. Hit them in bunches throughout the game that we saw. Plus shot maker with a quick release from his two guard spot.
Duece Owens (Five Star Basketball 17U)
Owens is a strong and athletic wing that got to the line at a good clip in the game we saw. Brings physicality on the wing throwing down some big dunks and scoring in the paint posting up weaker wings.
Logan Steffensmeier Logan Steffensmeier 6'7" | SF Sheboygan North | 2025 WI ( Wisconsin Crusaders 17U)
This big man made a name for himself with his play in Chicago. Good finisher throwing down dunks, sealed well on the block, had tip ins, and was overall very active on the interior scoring 15 points in their win we saw.
Oskar Kangas Oskar Kangas 6'6" | PF Iron Mountain | 2025 WI ( Wisconsin Crusaders 17U)
Kangas is a skilled prospect that can take his man off the bounce. I really like his passing feel and instincts hitting guys off live dribbles. Good all-around skilled player that was productive.
Keegan Van Kauwenberg Keegan Van Kauwenberg 6'3" | CG Kaukauna | 2025 State WI ( Wisconsin Crusaders 17U)
One of the better shooters in the state of Wisconsin. This 2025 prospect can really shoot the rock from beyond the arc and brings sneaky athleticism to the table as well.
Drew Daoust Drew Daoust 6'2" | PG Southern Door | 2025 State WI ( Wisconsin Crusaders 17U)
Daoust was outstanding for the Crusaders all weekend at Chi-Town Tip Off! Thick bodied combo guard is a plus shooter off the catch that drained them in bunches. Like the toughness and leadership he brings to the table. Can run a team while also knocking in shots.
