On Saturday March 30th I attended the ACBL hosted by Kenny Mullins located at the Glendale Prep.

I viewed 17U and 16U teams. I ended up watching exactly 11 teams of five 16U and six 17U.

Here are some All-League performances for the league.

These are based on the ONE game I viewed the team. These are NOT prospect rankings.

We move over to the 3rd Team Standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1763218' first='AJ' last='Harris'] Canyon View (AZ Factory 16) (Pictured)

A bigger sized wing forward takes very few strides to get to the basket. He can euro his way to the rim and can score above the rim. He is a sneaky good passer and a fluid athlete. He will rebound and score on put backs and score with baby hook shots or step out and shoot it. His ability to defend in space and inside makes him attractive.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396138' first='Rashad' last='Ortiz'] Palo Verde (Team RHJ 16)

A long freshman who can shoot it from the three point line, pull-up from mid-range and is quick to burst to the basket. He is a good passer up the court to a running teammate and despite his leaner frame, he can handle contact in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2302768' first='Hayden' last='Stebbins'] Notre Dame Prep (AZ Grind 17)

A stronger framed scoring guard can be that 3 and D type. He digs in on defense and has decent length. He can hit the three off the dribble and his catch threes daggers are his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2279895' first='Stephan' last='Miller'] Liberty (AZ Grind 17)

A multiple positional guard seems to impress each viewing. He can play a few positions on or off the ball and scores from all levels. He takes contact and finishes thru contact, he will hesitate and get to the basket and shoot it from mid to the three off the pull or catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1364929' first='Jackson' last='Hunter'] Liberty (Factory 17)

A good sized wing forward is a natural scorer from all three levels. He will dribble drive to the basket plus fall away from his defender from mid-range. He will rain threes off the catch and gets squared so quickly and fires away in a blink of an eye.

[player_tooltip player_id='2134454' first='Kameron' last='Pippen'] Palo Verde (Team RHJ 17)

A running back like pure point guard loves making plays for his teammates. He gets downhill with a quick dart to the basket and will throw the dime. He is very physical on the ball defensively and he can pull-up off the dribble from the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598443' first='Heesung' last='An'] Canyon View (AZ Venom 17)

A thicker framed wing forward who is athletic. He has good body control in the air and absorbs the contact. He boxes out well to rebound and has strong hands to steal the ball. He shot the ball well from the three point line and plays with energy.
