I viewed 17U and 16U teams. I ended up watching exactly 11 teams of five 16U and six 17U.
Here are some All-League performances for the league.
These are based on the ONE game I viewed the team. These are NOT prospect rankings.
We start off with the 1st Team Standouts
DeNali McNeal DeNali McNeal 6'3" | CG Canyon View | 2025 State AZ Canyon View (AZ Venom 17)
One of the top performances of the day. He scores from every level and can crossover into a three, in and out into a floater and uses his thicker frame to get downhill. He is a quick second jumper to score on put backs off the glass and is a very good passer in traffic. Don’t be surprised if he leads the league in scoring.
Adam Hubbard Adam Hubbard 6'4" | CG Canyon View | 2025 State AZ Canyon View ( Team Rise N Grind 17) (Pictured)
Another top flight performance was Hubbard. The high school teammate will go blow for blow with McNeal the entirety of the league for the most points. He has deep three point range from the parking lot and not many in the state have a quicker release. He can crossover into a layup, score on offensive rebound put backs and hit mid-range jumpers off the dribble. Defensively he will close out to shooters to block shots and collect steals with his length.
Braylon Haman Braylon Haman 6'1" | SG Willow Canyon | 2024 State AZ Willow Canyon (AZ Venom 17)
A scoring guard is a two-way player. He will dribble drive to the basket with his left and hit the mid-range pull-up. He has deep three point range and his in and out dribble is on point. He will unselfishly pass it up the court and he has been getting a lot of junior college love recently in the last month.
TJ Harris TJ Harris 6'0" | PG Paradise Honors | 2026 State AZ Paradise Honors (AZ Factory 16)
A dynamic scoring point guard is a bucket. He is quick on quick in the open court and super shifty to stay with him. He sees the court well and throws the dime. His catch three is so easy and will rattle them in quickly. He will hesitate and burst quickly to the basket and use the floater or lay it in.
Kaleel Kelly Kaleel Kelly 6'2" | PG Willow Canyon | 2025 State AZ Willow Canyon (Factory 17)
A powerfully built pure point guard keeps improving his scoring. His catch three point shooting was clicking and his downhill game is so tough. Once he gets to the chest of the defender he seems to bounce off of him and score. He is an unselfish floor general and he changes speed and directions unusually well combined with his strength for his position.
Myles Liimatta Myles Liimatta 6'6" | PF Valley Christian | 2026 State AZ Valley Chrisitan (AZ Factory 16)
A strong framed power forward has great hands and seals his man about as well as you can. He clears the lane and goes to work. He leaps up quickly to go up, without putting the ball down to not get it stolen, and always keeps the ball high. He is super efficient and effective in the paint area with post moves and and even euro steps.
Daniel Ortiz Daniel Ortiz 5'11" | SG Palo Verde | 2025 State AZ Palo Verde (Team RHJ 17)
The Tucson native has a good showing. He plays with incredible energy on the defensive end and hustles for rebounds and will collect steals and even take charges. He scored the ball well with threes off the catch, quick pull-ups off the dribble, speed drives and is a good passer. He should have a huge year his senior season for the Titans.
