Gugle is an underrated talent with a big time upside. He put that on display at the Storm Classic with REAL 17u. Gugle showed high end athleticism and a well rounded game. His weekend was probably highlighted with an 18 point, 6 rebound and 2 assist performance in the Silver Semifinals. Gugle showed versatility and the ability to create.

Summerville has, in my opinion, established himself as a high end national recruiting target. At the Storm Classic we saw a very shifty guard that can move defenders with his handles. Summerville handled with both sides and attacked with both sides. He created for teammates when attacking the lane and flaunted his sharpshooter skills from behind the arc.
Plummer was at it again in the Storm Classic last weekend. He had a tremendous, may I say breakout, grassroots season last year on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Plummer was one of the more consistent scorers last season and he was just that in GR. He didn’t need to be ball or shot heavy, but still put up the numbers that his team needed. Plummer had games with 23, 16 and 14 points.

Smith made sure that people took note of his game at the Storm Classic. He played well with the ball in his hands over the weekend. Smith made smart decisions and read the game and the action well. He took advantage of scoring opportunities and made the right passes. Smith’s weekend was probably highlighted by a 15 point, 6 rebound and 2 assist performance in a big REAL win.
I’ve been a really big fan of Gunsell’s game since last year on the Prep Hoops Circuit. He looked impressive again at the Storm Classic. He looks like a wing through and through. Gunsell moves off the ball and can attack from the baseline or the wing. He had a near double-double over the weekend with a 15 point and 9 rebound performance.
