There were 79 new players and here are some of the standouts that are not top-10 for position but are very good players in their own right.

Here are 8 newcomers from the last three months that are off the radar:

[player_tooltip player_id='2145741' first='Elias' last='Riley'] Deer Valley (Pictured)

Just outside the top-100 and it wouldn't surprise me he gets inside of it heading into his senior year. A JV star will get minutes on a loaded 4A Championship team next season and possibly burst onto the scene. He is hard to stay in front of with a tight handle and can shoot perimeter jumpers and defend with impressive lateral quickness.

[player_tooltip player_id='2318334' first='Karson' last='Reid'] Williams Field

A confident combo guard is another JV standout. He is a three level scorer and scores with catch threes, polished floaters, contact layups with spin moves and moves his feet on defense to collect steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2333012' first='Devon' last='Morganfield'] Valley Christian

Another standout JV player is an undersized power forward but has a huge wingspan and above the rim bounce. He has good hands and a live motor to rebound using his strong frame and length. He alters or blocks shots, scores around the rim and should get playing time next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280453' first='Iyzaya' last='Soto'] McClintock

A highly skilled combo guard is a sharp shooter. He has an ultimate quick trigger to go along with his deep range. He sees the court smartly and makes the proper read like a son of a coach would.

[player_tooltip player_id='2332286' first='Payton' last='Garcia'] Shadow Ridge

A pure point guard who has a pretty stroke from the perimeter. He can make plays for his teammates and has advanced court vision with drive and kicks and down the court looks. He will shoot the three easily as he gets squared up quickly. His speed with the ball and skill will give him more playing time year on varsity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2332288' first='Richard' last='Harris'] Cesar Chavez

A long and rugged power forward will control the glass and run the floor. He gobbles up balls in and out of his area with his high effort and aggressive play. He will most likely go from JV starter to varsity starter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2275986' first='KJ' last='Fauske'] Seton Catholic Prep

A combo guard has grown two to three inches in the last year. He plays on or off the ball alongside two senior guards this year and should have way more touches. He is one of the better catch and shoot standstill three point shooters in the class. He comes with range and a fast trigger.

[player_tooltip player_id='2322554' first='Vinny' last='Rodriguez'] Fairfax

A tough and skilled undersized point guard who can score. He has good speed and handles the ball well. He can score with pull-ups in bunches and hit the three. He is tough on the ball defensively and sees the court well.
