Using his impressive footwork inside on the right block, Adkins finished by executing drop steps and turning over his right shoulder before going up with a jump hook, even when contested or faced with tight defensive pressure he his touch proved to be effective. Defensively, Adkins excelled as an elite rim protector, his blocking prowess is a trait that’ll translate immediately at the next level simply due to his anticipation and timing. Adkins jumped so high at times his head was above the rim. His ability to soar to incredible heights allows him to swat shots at their peak and execute chase-down blocks with perfect precision, even showing an ability to snatch the ball off the glass with both hands as his opponent went up.
Caden Deffebaugh Caden Deffebaugh 6’4″ | SF Frisco Memorial | 2026 State TX consistently displayed an exceptionally high level of athleticism, establishing himself as one of the most explosive high flyers in the state. His vertical leap and slam dunking prowess were on full display, every chance Caden got, he showed off his capabilities to soar off one foot for front windmill dunks and utilize his two-foot jumping ability effectively, particularly when when standing under the rim and going up with two hands off of two feet with power and authority. Whether executing acrobatic dunks or finishing with force at the basket, Deffebaugh’s athleticism played a significant role in his impact on the court.
Dawson’s tremendous combination of size and versatility presents a difficult challenge for anyone at this level, as he can score effectively both inside and outside the paint. He displayed a proficient shot making prowess in various ways, posing a threat from all areas of the floor. Battie’s ability to stretch the floor was evident as he moved around the perimeter, often finding himself in open catch-and-shoot situations, particularly from the top of the key. Battie’s versatility makes him a nearly positionless player on the court, making him a nearly positionless player who can contribute effectively whether he has the ball or not. Lastly, Dawson Battie Dawson Battie 6’8″ | SF Dallas St. Marks | 2027 State TX proved to be very fluid for his size, fitting the mold of a modern forward in today’s game.
Jaden Marshall Jaden Marshall 6’6″ | SF Mansfield Timberview | 2026 State TX was a force when it came to creating second chance points and additional shot attempts for his team. Marshall displayed a high motor with an aggressive mindset on the offensive glass, constantly seeking to grab rebounds and convert them into points. His ability to capitalize on offensive rebounds added a valuable dimension to his Southern Assault ‘s scoring efforts, making him a master of generating points from extended plays and second-chance opportunities. Marshall also proved to be a difference maker from the dunker’s spot due to his positioning, timing, and awareness which led to openings for high-percentage shots.

There was no easy way to box out or game plan for this kid here. David Baliraine David Baliraine 6’9″ | C Hallsville | 2027 TX established himself as the most dynamic rebounder in the game, presenting a formidable challenge for opponents trying to keep him out of the lane. Baliraine’s dominance on the boards was a testament to his effort, athleticism, strength, and instincts, as he consistently utilized his length and ginormous hand size to secure rebounds, even cuffing the ball out the air with just one hand at times. For a man his size, Baliraine showcased impressive mobility and jumping ability as he moved well, got off the ground in a hurry, and crashed the offensive glass to clean up misses for the putback or tip in. His relentless effort on the glass made him a force to be reckoned with in the paint.
