All the teams in the 16U bracket hit the floor running at Lake Dallas High and Middle School with some dominant outings and nail-biting finishes. Here are some of the best player performances from day three.

Dedric West Dedric West 5’11” Dekaney Highschool | 2026 TX showed out on the final day of Mayhem at The Plex. He had 12 points in the first half alone of a dominant win over Kansas United before sitting out the majority of the second half. He scored at all three levels and was incredibly efficient in the 18 or so minutes he played. If he played a full game, he would have easily scored over 20.

Caleb Marshall Caleb Marshall 6’0″ | CG Prosper | 2026 TX is not a player who had a high scoring total on Day 3 nor did he have any flashy plays that would make a highlight reel. However, he was part of one of the largest comebacks over the three-day tournament and played a pivotal role in getting his team back in the game. Union 16U trailed by double-digits for two thirds of their game against Beast Elite 2026. The game was on track to be a blowout before Union went on a remarkable run. Marshall was responsible for steadying the ship, hitting timely shots, spacing the floor, and finding teammates in transition. He just made all the right plays and stayed calm regardless of the score.
Dallas Guillen
Dallas Guillen
At 6-7 with a sturdy frame, Dallas Guillen is a mismatch down low. That was evident in Beast Elite ‘s game against Union 16U before the Klein Collins big man left the game with an injured shoulder. In the first half alone, he was working on a double-double before the injury. He eventually came back into the game late in the second half and provided some much-needed scoring. If the minor injury never happened, Beast Elite most likely wins the game and Guillen probably puts up a monster double-double effort.

Semico Brown Semico Brown 5’9″ Klein Cane | 2027 TX was arguably my favorite player to watch on Day 3. The reason being, he just did everything. He got the occasional bucket–even though his team has plenty of scoring options–defended well, racked up steals, and made some assists. More impressively, he was one of the more impressive rebounders I have seen all tournament in the 16U bracket. Lastly, as a class of 2027 prospect, his game and frame still have so much more room to grow. From here on out, keep your eye on Semico Brown Semico Brown 5’9″ Klein Cane | 2027 TX .

Cristian Lara Cristian Lara 5'9" | PG Johnson H.S | 2026 TX
Cristian Lara Cristian Lara 5’9″ | PG Johnson H.S | 2026 TX was a player I spent more time watching on Day 2, but I would be remised if I left him off this list of Day 3 top performers. He wasn’t the biggest guard in the tournament, nor did he have his best outing game after game. That said, his process and skillset was impressive. He has a perimeter-oriented game and can absolutely fill it up from range. Additionally, he has a tight handle, and he can finish below the rim with nice touch.
