Hall 6’7″ | PF Plano East | 2025 State #333 Nation TX was exceptionally active early on, starting with a turnaround lob on the first offensive possession and diving for a loose ball after deflecting a pass, contributing the first 9 points to set the tone for Plano East. Standing at 6’6″ with remarkable strength and athleticism, Hall’s physical attributes alone made him a dominant force in the paint. His size and power allowed him to establish deep post position, making it challenging for defenders to deny him the ball. Hall showcased versatility by confidently drilling a three-pointer off the dribble from the top of the key with fluid mechanics. He also showed off an effective pump fake at times that got his defender to raise up. I admired how Hall didn’t back down for a challenge as he went head-to-head with the top forward of the Texas 2024 class, highlighting his fearless and competitive approach to the game.
Doryan’s slam dunking ability in the post was nothing short of electrifying, showcasing exceptional athleticism, wingspan, and explosiveness. His dominance in the game was evident as a constant aerial threat around the rim, finishing lobs and cleaning up misses with powerful putback dunks. Also, his jumper from various distances created mismatches and provided floor-spacing opportunities for Faith Family.
Josiah Mosley ignited the game by contributing the first 8 points, showcasing early mobility that made him a factor, sprinting through the middle of the floor for easy finishes in transition. His pure jumper was on full display as he confidently pulled up with a hand in his face, utilizing his elevation to knock down mid-range jumpers while facing up and creating off the bounce.
Darius Steed Darius Steed 6’6″ | PF Lipan | 2026 TX stood out as a well-rounded and impactful presence on the court, setting effective and solid picks that led his guards into the paint. Steed’s pick-setting skill significantly enhanced the team’s offensive flow, opening up opportunities for shooters to get clean looks. Steed also showed the ability to pop out and knock down open spot-up three-pointers. Defensively, he challenged nearly everything at the rim, showcasing his reliability as a helpside defender and defensive anchor.
Weston Frick Weston Frick 6’6″ | PF Shelbyville | 2024 TX showcased an aggressive and powerful playing style, consistently utilizing his imposing size and strength in the paint. His terrific hands and impressive first and second jumps allowed him to secure the ball at a high point, contributing to his effectiveness on the court.
