Continue ReadingWith the ball on a string, Sorenson did a great job leveraging his quickness to attack driving lanes. Should help approach, the guard stayed ready on kickout passes or ball screens. Effective threading the needle on tight passes, the guard was a decisive playmaker. Defensively, although undersized, Sorenson was an assertive point of attack defender. His quick hands and willingness to take away space made him a thorn in the side of opposing ball handlers.
Highlights
Tucci repeatedly found ways to attack the rim, decisively reading driving lanes. One of the higher volume downhill scorers for this team, Tucci’s offensive impact helped provide a consistent flow of points. Defensively, they competed on the glass, physically boxing out opponents. When provided an opening, the guard proved to be a knockdown perimeter shooter.
Roark stayed active attacking the rim, quick to make the extra pass once help defense took away the lane. He was among the better facilitators from this event, particularly while operating in the paint. Getting downhill with either his left or right hand, he blew by his defender off the first step on quite a few occasions.

Malik contributed on multiple turnaround attempts at the basket, showing soft touch on paint attempts. He presented a high motor at this event, actively putting his body on the line for rebounds and loose balls.
Elbe has notably improved his perimeter shooting, knocking down multiple threes per game, consistent while off the catch. At roughly 6’5, there were few opponents at this event capable of altering his shot attempts, given the confidence on those attempts. While around the rim, he stayed active cleaning up missed shots, quick to get up a putback. Defensively, he was a dependable option contesting shots at the rim, maintaining reactive hands versus drivers.

Shideler kept moving while off-ball, cutting into position quite a few times for finishes in the lane. A willing scorer past contests, his strong frame made him one of the more dependable finishers around the rim for this team.
Walker was among the standouts of this event, his confident shotmaking behind the arc and strong frame allowed him to be a dependable offensive option. Active, crashing the glass on either end, Walker was among the most physically imposing 2026 athletes from this event. Swatting away over half a dozen shots on the day, the guard provided some eye opening hustle plays on the defensive end. Defensively, the guard could hold his own against a variety of positions, certainly an intriguing name at Fossil Ridge next season.

Rodriguez-Flores was an active help side defender, his presence helped take away space from opponent driving lanes. He did well getting out on the break early on, setting himself up for success.

Love stayed consistent grabbing boards and sending putbacks up following a shot attempt. Often looking to initiate the offense, this guard was especially active attacking the rim. They were actively getting a hand into passing lanes, quickly taking away space.
