The southpaw Brown exhibits a calm demeanor and smooth movement on the court. He shows a quick step when attacking to his left, finishing softly at the rim. However, there’s room for improvement in his dribbling and finishing with his right hand, which would add versatility to his game. He demonstrates the ability to shoot from three-point range with confidence, stepping into shots effectively. As a young guard, he stands to benefit greatly from development at Simeon.
Highlights
Despite being the smallest player competing in the 2027 class, Germaine Moore is actually part of the 2030 class, and he certainly made an impression. He’s a feisty on-ball defender who isn’t afraid to play physically and possesses fundamentally sound handling and attacking skills. Moore also demonstrated solid lead passes in transition and added flair to his game with a step-back corner three-pointer, followed by another wing three on back-to-back possessions.
Highlights
Harris displayed qualities compared to a quarterback on the court. He showed unselfish play within the half-court offense and pushed the pace during transitions without forcing plays. Harris showcased good shooting form and accuracy from beyond the arc, making pull-up and spot-up three-pointers. Additionally, he delivered crisp passes to cutters, further highlighting his court vision and playmaking abilities
Highlights
Ayyash demonstrated noticeable confidence and a strong desire to contribute during 5v5 games. He excelled at high-pointing rebounds and kept the ball high in the post to evade defenders effectively. Ayyash also showed proficiency in executing pick-and-rolls as the screener, with soft hands for quick passes. He exhibited early signs of being a skilled rim-runner and remained active in the paint. Ayyash understood his role during the session and executed it exceptionally well.
Highlights
The twin brother of Nedas Venckus Nedas Venckus 6’1″ | PG Lockport | 2027 IL , Nojus, showcased a distinctive playing style compared to his sibling. He adopted a more nonchalant approach and prioritized passing from the point position. Nojus patiently attacked off the dribble and slipped through defensive gaps. He was a quietly active player, contributing on both ends of the court, creating plays all over. Lockport boasts a handful of intriguing prospects for the 2027 class.
Highlights
Thompson competed nicely in all events, and it’s more impressive that he did it as a class younger as he is in 2028. The guard from Triad showcased raw ball-handling and a sharp stroke from downtown. Crisp footwork and soft touches near the rim. Rebounded sufficiently and showcased effective outlet passes. Would have liked to see him maximize his physical advantages, particularly in mismatches in the post, given his size and height. Overall, Thompson’s performance reflects a promising talent.
