Newell demonstrated good footwork with pivot foot usage and effective step-through moves during one-on-one drills. Showcased the ability to create separation using a quick step-back. Once the event started live 5v5, he executed tough drives through the middle of the lane, and showed he was capable of battling contact when attacking.
Highlights
Demonstrated the skill to use a bank shot when encountering defenders stopping his path to the rim. Exhibited court vision by making smart passes to open perimeter shooters during 5-on-5 play. Despite facing challenges with his jump shot during the event, he contributed significantly through effective ball distribution. Phillips showed poise with the challenge of having an off-shooting day.
Highlights
In the one-on-one session, Randa found a sweet spot near the free-throw line, demonstrating a smooth pull-up jumper. Additionally, he displayed both confidence and capability in driving to the basket and finishing with his left hand. Transitioning to 3-on-3 play, Randa showed more offensive skills and creativity by driving aggressively and delivering nice dish passes.
Highlights
Arizala demonstrated an ability to read his defenders’ position and make decisive cuts behind them. Once the 5v5 games began, he showcased offensive movement, finding open spaces in the defense. Notably, he executed a strong drive from the corner, ending with a well-executed banked floater. Quick on his feet on defense.

Douglas showcased great hustle during transitions, outrunning defenders to create quick scoring opportunities. His aggressive cutting was impressive, especially providing a passing option for ball-handlers when they faced defensive pressure. His hustle and competitiveness were evident throughout the entire event.
The point guard from Glenbard North showed a smooth form when shooting off the catch during the 5-on-5 setting, and capable of hitting three-pointers. Additionally, he displayed strength in driving from both the left and right wings, and a smooth touch when finishing off the glass.
Highlights
As the 5-on-5 games kicked off, Nickel’s confidence noticeably grew. He effectively showed a smooth shot fake, followed by a step-through move that fooled his defender. Additionally, Nickel demonstrated good help-side positioning, where in a highlight moment he blocked a driving shot attempt from the baseline. His ability to spot up along the perimeter was also noteworthy, as he capitalized on an opportunity to drain a three-pointer.
