Bryce has a great frame for a point guard. He has a smooth handle which helps gets his team into the flow of their offense. He excels at getting the rebound and getting his teammates involved in the fast break for a quick three or layup. He also can be sneaky and throw a pass over the shoulder or make a nice dump off pass in the Pick and Roll. Bryce is coming off this season with Notre Dame where he averaged 5.2 assists per game in a tough 5A conference and helped get his team to the Semifinals of the Open Division of the State Playoffs.
I’yar is coming off a 5A State Championship with Ironwood this past season. While he is an undersized guard, he is quick and shifty and knows how to get his teammates involved. He excels in drive and kick situations where he gets his teammates open shots. He averaged 6.7 assists this past year and also broke the single-season assist record at Ironwood with 200 assists. He plays for the club team Star Status Elite this upcoming AAU season.
Uriah is a fast and shifty guard who has a good knack for organizing the offense. He has a great basketball IQ which he uses to control the pace of the game. He has the ability to find his teammates in transition for an open bucket as well as making the right pass in the pick and roll. Uriah is coming off a season with Prescott where he averaged 4.4 APG. Excited to see what’s in store for him this AAU season.
Dylan is a quick, lefty guard who is a good decision maker. He knows how to operate well out of the pick and roll and sometimes teams will try to take away his passing ability which can get him a bucket in the paint. He is coming off a great season with ALA Gilbert North where he averaged 6.2 assists and got to the 2nd round of the Open division and got to the Semifinals in the 4A State Championship. Be on the lookout for him this AAU season.
Quincy has a good build for a point guard and was a big facilitator for Canyon View this season. He likes to get his teammates involved first. He does well in the pick and roll where he has a variety of ways to get the ball moving out of it. He also likes to push the tempo and get the ball up quick in fast break situations. Excited to see how he facilitates on the court with AAU right around the corner.
