There are a lot of talented freshman in the state of Michigan. While the 2027 rankings are fluid and will without a doubt change over the next few years, there are some wings that I've seen play that coaches and scouts should watch. I believe that these five wings to watch are players on a path to success at some level of the game.

He's lean, athletic and very bouncy. Hobbs has excellent feet and body control both on the righty drive and on the finish. He can score in transition and keeps his front shoulder low when attacking the rim. Hobbs is also an underrated passer, especially in the open floor.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["2276971"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Hahnenberg has a lot going for himself as a basketball prospect. He has impressive positional height and length and he uses them both very effectively on the glass. He was a double digit rebound threat game in and game out during high school season. Hahnenberg can attack with his left and really works well on the baseline.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2141005"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Wood is a player that I was familiar with even a few years ago as a middle schooler. I'd have told you the same thing back then: The young man can play. He's a versatile scorer on offense that can read the D and attack accordingly. If they step off Wood, he can bury a jumper with 3 point range. If they pressure the ball, Wood can go right and put his defender on his hip.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["2373456"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Langdon is definitely a freshman to keep a close eye on over the next few years. He can fill it up from behind the arc, especially off the catch and shoot. It takes more than a hand in his face to defend his jumper. Langdon is probably underrated as a passer. He sees the action and can slice through a defense with a pass over the top or a bounce pass on an angle.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["2140509"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Dirschell is the type of player that is most likely going to keep getting better, and not just by a little bit. He's a versatile player that played up all of last grassroots season. Even when battling with the 2026's, his strength was probably his ability to defend almost anywhere on the floor. Dirschell is a hard worker that I guarantee will maximize his talents.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65fad6763104c"} /-->
