Wood is a player that I was familiar with even a few years ago as a middle schooler. I’d have told you the same thing back then: The young man can play. He’s a versatile scorer on offense that can read the D and attack accordingly. If they step off Wood, he can bury a jumper with 3 point range. If they pressure the ball, Wood can go right and put his defender on his hip.
