Evan Swain Evan Swain 6’7″ | C Ravenswood | 2025 State WV , who we mentioned in the state tournament summary article, isn’t one of the more household names in WV despite playing for one of the most notable coaches. Swain is a towering 6’7″, doubles as a college prospect pitcher on the mound, as well as starting to develop his on court skills by the end of the season. Swain will be an LKC mainstay next season and likely lead Ravenswood in several statistical categories.
Jordan Teets Jordan Teets 6’1″ | SG East Hardy | 2025 State WV is who we believe will be East Hardy’s best player coming into next season. Teets showed some great skill with the ball and made some very athletic plays while at the state tournament, and finishes with the ball well. Look for him to be East Hardy’s leading scorer next season as he has good size and great aforementioned skill level.
Keyan Greyson Keyan Greyson 6’1″ | CG Spring Valley | 2025 State WV was a bright spot for Spring Valley during their trip to the Civic Center. What we saw from Greyson is the ability to catch and shoot under duress as well as on the move. Greyson can assume the role as 2nd or 3rd scoring option but seems to have no problem when duty calls for him to put the ball in the bucket. Greyson returns next year with a great line up of returning starters and bench players.
Garrett Wilfong Garrett Wilfong 6’4″ | SF Tucker County | 2025 State WV was one of the highlights of Tucker’s championship appearance run. In the semi-final Wilfong showed why so many are anxious to see him in a full time starting role as he put down a transition alley-oop dunk. Wilfong is a long and lean athletic wing/forward player who could easily propel himself into recruiting talk with some off season development. Wilfong is a super athletic and bouncy player and uses his abilities well.
Avonte Crawford Avonte Crawford 6’3″ | SG Huntington | 2025 State WV is a very intriguing prospect. A long athletic guard who seems to put himself where the action is. Playing with alot of energy Crawford creates alot of opportunities in transition with his defense and transition skills. Crawford could easily assume the role of leading scorer next year after Mikey Johnson Mikey Johnson 6’3″ | SF Huntington | 2024 State WV ‘s departure.
Loakkhae Uth-Smith will be one of the state’s top shooters returning next year. While much of the defensive pressure goes to Caleb Thomas Caleb Thomas 6’6″ | PF Spring Mills | 2025 State WV , Uth-Smith is the perfect compliment as a long lengthy wing shooter that stretches defenses and keeps them honest. Spring Mills will have no shortage of college coaches giving attention so Loakkhae will get eyes on him soon if not already. Nobody would be surprised if he had an early offer by summer’s end.
Tyronn Paulin Tyronn Paulin 6’6″ | SF St Albans | 2025 State WV is one of the 2025 class’s top post players. The long and strong 4/5 combo post player has shown immense improvement throughout the season and is starting to be a matchup problem. We’d anticipate him being a double double machine next season and in the average range of 15 & 10 which will get him attention from small college and juco’s immediately.
