The Knights advanced to the championship game with a 67-60 win and will play Windward Saturday in search of a CIF crown. Miller finished with a team-high 23 points and made it look easy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>On Mayes: </strong>The 6-foot-3 junior finished with a game-high 26 points which came in a variety of ways from strong drives and finishes, pull-up jump shots and multiple trips to the free throw line. Offensively, the junior used his speed and explosiveness to push the break in transition, get defenders on their heels and hit paint touches on penetration and found open teammates. Mark also made high-level plays on the defensive end with his quick hands and reaction time when jumping into passing lanes and pressuring ball handlers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>On Ringer:</strong> The 6-foot-3 combo guard scored 16 points and dished out five assists in Redondo's loss and was one of the primary guys when taking care of the ball, running offense and getting teammates open looks. White, a 6-foot-5 forward, finished with an efficient 18 points, nine of those coming from the free throw line which came off of strong drives through contact to the rim.
