2029 Top 5 Prospects

The PH NorCal 2029 Rankings have been updated. These are arguably the top 5 prospects sitting at the top of the class. This group is gaining National attention with the work they've done on the court, some have already received multiple DI offers. They play EYBL, 3SSB 15U. 3 of the 5 played 16/17U. This top five group is fluid, one can overtake the other depending on progression and productivity before the next update.    He's the man in the middle for one of NorCal's top teams. A legitimate rim protector, could be the top shot blocker of any NorCal Class. He's active, mobile has a growing skill set expanding his game away from the basket. He hauls in rebounds at a high rate. He's in the double, double club. His footwork in the post is in a progressive stage. He has length and touch for paint jumpers, gets lobs often. He participated in the Pango All-American, Top 30 Cream of the Crop game averaged close to a double double for the event. Plays for Bahrain National Youth Team FIBA.     The 6'8 Wing/Guard is scratching the surface of his potential. We see the gradual improvements, expanding his game. The long athletic prospect is comfortable with ball in hand moving at a fast pace, he seems at best in transition for now, while polishing and expanding his overall skill set in the half-court. His range and shooting form is improved. He's difficult to defend coming across the middle, catching, turning and putting up the paint jumper. He'll play the high post, roam the perimeter, will aggressively attack when the opportunity presents itself. He was a standout at the Nike Elite 100 Camp.     Moulla averaged 13.3 pts, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks his Freshman season. He's playing up 16U Team Lillard. He's probably still growing. He understands how to play, takes full advantage of his size, movement, and growing skill set. He'll be joining the double double club soon. He plays at a good pace, excellent court runner. He's a ball handler, makes moves to get his shot in the paint. He'll work the post area with good moves around the basket, not quite dominant but he's on the way. He'll attack from the baseline, high post, he can facilitate at times. He'll go get blocks, defend his size in the post, does okay moving his feet defending on the perimeter.     He made an impression playing his first season of basketball in NorCal. The long athletic forward excels in transition basketball, running, dunking, finishing around the rim. There's some high energy slashing and cutting to the basket. He'll attack from the free throw area, short corners, mid-post. He's shown he can play the perimeter, will shoot his shot if open. He's a versatile defender, has the length and footspeed to defend on the perimeter, size at 6'9 to defend others in the post, he'll block shots, get a good amount of rebounds for putback points or get it and go. Recently played for CIV National Youth Team averaged 13.7 pts, 8.6 rebs, 1.7 asts.     He's 6'6 with guard skills. Handles, vision, can facilitate when called to do so. He shows his versatility off ball roaming the perimeter, using his dribble drive from different angles to get his mid-range jumper off or use his burst to split/go by defenders, going high above the rim often for dunks, and other finishes around the rim. He has the size, patience and footwork to score in the paint working the post area. He's an underrated rebounder, gets offensive rebounds, converts, makes his free throws. He played up 16U with team Lillard. He has the tools elevate his game to a higher level.
