The Judges sit atop the Queens PSAL division yet again, and senior guard Jordin Walker leads the way. Averaging a shade over 21 points on his final season, the 5-foot-11 lead guard has been a nightmare for opposing defenses all year. With a quick first step and the ability to put points up on all three levels, he will be a hard matchup for Franklin K. Lane Wednesday night. On the recruiting front, things have been quiet, but with good shooting ability, toughness, and IQ, Walker’s a player who is still flying under the radar.

The sweet-shooting senior guard has been putting up numbers at Bowne for the past couple of seasons and this year is no different. Averaging a team high 19 points as part of a senior laden group that will be looking to knock off Cardozo en route to a Queens title. First up is a Newton team that is talented but doesn’t have the same experience as this Bowne group does. Look for fellow seniors Darrel Taylor and Josiah Salmon to have big impacts as well
The 5-foot-9 Childs has been putting up video game-like numbers of 25 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.2 assists this season and if Construction is going to come out of the Queens division they’ll need their senior floor general to continue to produce the way he has been. They’ll take on a talented Eagle Academy III team in what could and should be the most entertaining game of the four Queens quarter-final games.
The 6-foot-6 Kentucky transplant has led Forrest Hills with 18.7 points a game and is second in rebounding on the team. He also is arguably the team’s best shooter, hitting a shade over three a game (again-team leading). What does that all mean? That the sophomore forward has been highly productive this season. As the #5 seed,FH will have to get past an Epic South group that knocked off Cardinal Hayes last month- but this could be the start of Clifton’s coming out party
