The race for Class 4 is heating up and teams are beginning to separate from the pack. Each team is going to have an x-factor that can be the difference in big games. We touch on who those players are in this article.

Vashon - [player_tooltip player_id='1557386' first='Dehrio' last='McCaskill']:

On a team full of athletes this McCaskill brother might be the best of them all. At 6'4 he's a high flyer who can get put-backs and make routine plays in transition. A defender who takes on tough matchups. He's their versatile wing and raises the ceiling of this team tremendously when he's playing well.

Father Tolton - MJ Adair:

Adair is a curveball for opponents. Everybody knows about his running mates in the backcourt so oftentimes it's Adair who sees less attention and makes plays as a result. The smooth lefty is a crafty player who can finish tough shots around the basket. He plays with a high skill level.

Borgia - Tate Marquart:

Marquart is a very good athlete that can play all over the floor. He's one of their top defenders and plays with a noticeable motor. The 5'11 senior also brings both shooting and leadership. He's a player who has won a lot of games and hits threes at key times. Simply a gamer in every sense of the phrase.

John Burroughs - Owen Walther:

Burroughs has a host of athletes with length on the floor at all times. This gives them plenty of advantages but leaves a lot to be desired in the shooting department. Insert Owen Walther. He's their designated three point shooter and a very good one at that. A tremendous talent who has had some big games this season. He can fill it up from beyond the arc.

Kansas City Central - Darren McHenry:

McHenry is a player that fits this team like a glove. He plays his role and can be an energy guy on the defensive end. At 6'5 he's their best rebounder and post presence. The senior does a ton of work at the basket and loves to take on a challenge. When you talk about some of the best role players in Missouri, he's one that might make his way on the list.

Park Hills Central - [player_tooltip player_id='1160843' first='Caden' last='Casey']:

Casey is a bigtime scorer and athlete at the guard position. He's a player who has won a lot of games in his career and has a high motor. An extremely quick player off the bounce. His shot creation skills are among the best in his conference. Casey has enough talent to be the leading scorer in a sectional or state type of contest.

Principia - Jaedyn Jones:

Jones takes turns helping run the point guard position and Principia is a better team when he's on the floor. The young floor general is smooth and makes smart decisions. A solid shooter from range. He has made a big leap both in terms of production and confidence since his freshman season.
