Lathan Sommerville (Peoria Richwoods – 2024 – Rutgers)
Sommerville was a man among boys for Peoria Richwoods in their victory against O’Fallon on Friday night. The Rutgers commit was too big, too strong, and too athletic to be contained inside as he had 24 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Big bodied five that is incredibly light on his feet for how large he is. When he keeps the ball high away from guards being able to strip at it he is pretty much unstoppable at the high school level. Great sense of how to use his body to seal off defenders and get the position that he wants. Spin moves, seals, and massive jams out of the dunker spot all night long. Ran the floor well even being able to handle it in transition. Pounded the offensive glass for multiple put backs. Hit a three as well. Complete force!
Meyoh Swansey Meyoh Swansey 6'3" | SG Thornton | 2024 State IL (Thornton – 2024)
Swansey closed out the event in style leading his team to a win against Cardinal Ritter scoring 20 points and earning MVP honors. He came out on fire draining three after three. Swansey is a plus athlete that can really shoot it draining four triples in the win along with throwing down a pair of nasty alley-oops. The athleticism and shot making him one of the top available two guards in the state of Illinois.
Keenan Garner Keenan Garner 6'6" | PF Fishers | 2024 State IN (Fishers, IN – 2024)
Garner earned MVP honors for their win against Homewood Flossmoor in a battle of top teams from Illinois and Indiana. The strong bodied 6’6” power forward would be an awesome fit at the mid-major level. Combination of strength, athleticism, and skill was very impressive. He scored at will off the bounce with quick moves showing burst taking it from the mid and high-post off the bounce. Finished out of the dunker spot, rebounds well in and out of area. Can stretch hitting a couple threes in a 20 point performance.
Trey Williams Trey Williams 6'0" | PG Loyola Academy | 2026 IL (Vashon – 2025)
If you let Williams open from the corner you are going to pay! That is what he did against O’Fallon as the elite shot maker hit corner threes in bunches draining five of them. One of the best pure shot makers off the catch in the Midwest with a quick stroke and it looks like it is going in every single time it leaves his hands! Versatile defender that can play on and off the ball. Finished with 19 points.
Bryce Heard Bryce Heard 6'6" | SG Homewood Flossmoor | 2025 State #86 Nation IL (Homewood Flossmoor – 2025)
Heard is the #2 overall junior in the 2025 class in Illinois. He was outstanding against Fishers recording 19 points in the loss. Big and athletic wing that was aggressive slashing over and over again getting downhill for scores at the cup including multiple and-1s. Mixed in a couple pull up twos, got loose in transition, and was very good on the glass throughout the game. High-major prospect!
