New England 2026 Rankings Released

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first installment of the Prep Hoops New England 2026 Prospect Rankings have been released!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2341271' first='Sebastian' last='Wilkins'] claims the top spot in our rankings after a terrific start to his sophomore season. [player_tooltip player_id='2341272' first='Ben' last='Ahmed'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2341286' first='Sam' last='Fleming'], check in at #2 and #3, respectively; while [player_tooltip player_id='2341288' first='Warren' last='Keel Jr.']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/badara-diakite/"></a> (#4) and [player_tooltip player_id='2341292' first='Collins' last='Chidera Onyejiaka']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jaylen-harrell/"></a> (#5) round out the Top 5!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These rankings will be the most fluid we've published yet, as these prospects have yet to complete even 50% of their high school careers. We've highlighted a smaller number of prospects in this rankings release, but that number will grow with each update.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In all, there are 65 prospects ranked in New England. They come from high schools and prep schools in all six New England states and range from Top 35 prospects nationally all the way to regional, small college recruits.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The rankings include 36 prospects from Massachusetts, 11 from Connecticut, 10 from New Hampshire, 4 from Rhode Island, 2 from Vermont, and 1 from Maine.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Positionally, they include 9 point guards, 8 combo guards, 11 shooting guards, 18 small forwards, 12 power forwards, and 7 centers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a reminder, the rankings in New England always carry a good amount of fl9uctuation due to the high number of prep schools in the region, as a number of prospects transfer into New England or choose to reclassify each spring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Keep an eye on the site throughout the week as we highlight the Top 10, Top 5 Guards, Top 5 Wings, and more!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
