Continue ReadingThe big man had another productive night, scoring inside the paint and rebounding the ball against WCD. He’s a player that could be a nice pickup for a college program that is on the search for a traditional big man.
Highlights
His scoring and rebounding numbers over the past month have been very impressive which should only help him boost his recruitment sooner than later. Knocking down shots from three-point land, making plays above the rim and fully transitioning into a college wing prospect are all attributes that make him very intriguing.
His numbers won’t automatically catch your attention but his skillset and upside is the reason that D1 programs are tracking closely. You can’t teach height, wingspan and skill and he clearly is a player that is only scratching the surface of how good he can be.
If you don’t know his name already, go ahead and take some time to get familiar with him. He has the height, wingspan and skillset for a college wing prospect, and he is only in his freshman year. In their win over TBS, he knocked down some clutch buckets from the perimeter and battled inside the paint for rebounds.
The ability that he has to convert difficult shots and play through different types of contact allowed him to be a very productive player. He was one of the few bright spots for his team during their quarterfinal matchup and will be a player to keep a close eye on.
