These players have seen steady growth and improvement from previous seasons and look to build upon their success moving forward. Here are players who I think are having a great season for the 2025 class.
Hidalgo has seen lots of growth this season in his game as the long and athletic point good looks to keep attacking and destroying defenses. At 6’4″ Hidalgo can guard almost every position on the court and uses his athleticism to attack the rim whenever he can. He looks to be aggressive in fastbreak situations and can fly up and down the court. He’s also turning into an excellent two-way player as he will look to get multiple steals and blocks throughout a game and lockdown the other team’s best perimeter player.
Santucci is having a fantastic season averaging 20 ppg along with grabbing close to 10 rebounds per game. He works the midrange and painted area well looking to hit tough fading-away jump shots with opportunities to attack the rim no matter who’s under the rim. At 6’3″ he crashes the glass like a center and does a great job of starting fastbreaks for his team with long accurate outlet passes or using his speed and quickness to go coast to coast to the rim. Santucci has quick hands on the defensive end seemingly coming up with multiple steals in many games.
Bradley is having a much improved season this year as he seems to have put everything together allowing the game to come to him. He’s a scoring guard averaging 13 ppg. He can get hot in a hurry from deep with his quick release and look to attack the midrange area at any given moment. His catch-and-shoot game is automatic and will always knock down the shot if given the open space. On the defensive end, Bradley will look to get involved in the passing lanes and force players into tough situations to come up with the turnover.
Altobelli has had a consistent season up to this point and should look to continue in that direction thanks to his terrific play at the point guard position. With averages of 12 ppg and 8 assists per game, Altobelli is the commander of the offense and automatically makes his teammates better with his playmaking ability. He is an excellent tempo setter with the ball in his hands and dictates how fast or slow his team should be playing. He can escape tough situations with his tight handles and can get to the rim in most instances with his speed and quickness.
Linstra can do whatever is asked of him on the court and can dominate in different areas of the court. Averaging a double-double this season with over 18 ppg and 10 rebounds per game he is a force in the inside game. He will work his way in the posted area and can use his soft touch around the rim to his advantage against aggressive defenders. Linstra is a monster in the fastbreak as he can fly up and down to court looking to get his offense going.
