With seven remaining we will reset where they stand entering week nine of the Indiana High School Basketball season.
Fishers Tigers (13-0)
Ranked #2 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A poll, the Tigers continue to roll on in impressive fashion. Unsigned senior forward Keenan Garner Keenan Garner 6'6" | PF Fishers | 2024 State IN is putting together an Indiana All-Star caliber season averaging 16.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Fishers will be at Avon for a Hoosier Crossroads Conference matchup on Friday before hosting Carroll (Fort Wayne) on Saturday.
Greenfield-Central Cougars (13-0)
Superstar junior guard Braylon Mullins Braylon Mullins 6'6" | SG Greenfield-Central | 2025 State #123 Nation IN just went over the 1,000 career point milestone as the Cougars moved to 13-0 on the season. He is now averaging 27.2 points per game. This week, Greenfield-Central will host Shortridge on Tuesday night and travel to Shelbyville on Saturday.
Lake Central Indians (12-0)
There isn’t an undefeated team in the state that gets less attention than Lake Central who just continue to quietly win games. Senior forward Jake Smith Jake Smith 6'6" | PF Lake Central | 2024 State IN is having an outstanding season to lead them to a 12-0 record as they climb the state rankings. The Indians will face Lowell and Valparaiso this coming week.
Lawrence North Wildcats (14-0)
Fresh off of winning the Marion County Tournament, Lawrence North sits at a perfect 14-0 with a #1 ranking in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A poll. The Wildcats are at North Central on Friday. Those two teams just played in the Marion County Tournament semifinals so it will certainly be a familiar matchup. Lawrence North won that game 73-53.
Richmond Red Devils (16-0)
No team in the state of Indiana has more wins than Richmond as they are already 16-0. Their toughest test yet will come on Tuesday night as they host a red hot New Palestine team. 6’5″ junior guard Cedric Horton Cedric Horton 6'4" | SG Richmond | 2025 State #321 Nation IN is their leading scorer averaging 18.9 points per game.
Tipton Blue Devils (14-0)
The only remaining undefeated non-Class 4A team, the Blue Devils have climbed to #1 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A poll with their 14-0 record. There is no more dynamic backcourt in small school basketball than Tipton’s duo of junior Grady Carpenter Grady Carpenter 6'5" | PG Tipton | 2025 State IN and senior Nolan Swan Nolan Swan 5'10" | PG Tipton | 2024 State IN . On Saturday, they will go up against Kokomo in what should be a really good game.
Westfield Shamrocks (10-0)
The Shamrocks will put their undefeated record on the line Wednesday evening as they travel to face Class 4A #5 Noblesville. Westfield also has a weekend double-header of two more road games at Brownsburg and Tri-West. Points are always at a premium against this team who may have the best defense in the state. Offensively, 6’8″ unsigned senior forward Nic Book Nic Book 6'8" | PF Westfield | 2024 State IN leads the way averaging 11.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
