Barr-Reeve @ Loogootee

Affectionately referred to as the "Buggy Bowl" these two storied programs will tip-off this evening for one of the best annual rivalry games in the state of Indiana. Neither team features some of the star power they've had in years past, but this is still a Class 1A Top 10 matchup as the #8 Lions host the #9 Vikings. Barr-Reeve has rattled off 10 straight wins since an early loss to Clay City. It'll likely be hard to get a seat for this one at Jack Butcher Arena.

Noblesville @ Zionsville

For fans on the northern outskirts of Indianapolis not making the trip to the Marion County Tournament semifinals, this will be the game for you. Class 4A #5 ranked Noblesville will take their 10-1 record to 7-5 Zionsville to face a very talented Eagles squad. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1525678' first='Maguire' last='Mitchell'] is having a monster season alongside his running mate, and classmate, [player_tooltip player_id='1525679' first='Drew' last='Snively']. That one-two punch gives Zionsville a chance to win every time they take the floor. Meanwhile, the Millers will counter with Indiana All-Star candidate [player_tooltip player_id='1158209' first='Aaron' last='Fine'], sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='1534261' first='Justin' last='Curry II'], and versatile senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1275012' first='Hunter' last='Walston'].

Delaware County Tournament

On Friday night it'll be Class 3A #3 Delta (11-2) versus Wes-Del (3-7) followed by Yorktown (6-5) versus Class 2A #2 Wapahani (12-0). On paper, it looks like a collision course to Saturday's championship game for Delta and Wapahani, but don't sleep on Yorktown. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1578430' first='Kieran' last='Tewari'] is averaging 14.6 points per game while Jacob Grim chips in 10.1 points and 4.0 assists per game. They've played an excellent schedule and recently rattled off five consecutive wins, including an impressive overtime victory over Anderson, before falling to Class 4A #3 Westfield. The Tigers lost by two points earlier this season at Delta. Wapahani, the defending Delaware County Tournament champions, won't be able to sleepwalk their way back to the finals. Saint Francis commit [player_tooltip player_id='1275729' first='D'Amare' last='Hood'] (Delta H.S. 2024), [player_tooltip player_id='1158184' first='Jackson' last='Wors'] (Delta H.S. 2024), [player_tooltip player_id='1158181' first='Isaac' last='Andrews'] (Wapahani H.S. 2024), and [player_tooltip player_id='1561131' first='Camden' last='Bell'] (Wapahani H.S. 2026) are the other prospects to watch at Delta High School on Friday night.

Johnson County Tournament

Whiteland, now 9-5, pulled off a bit of an upset defeating Franklin in the first round of the Johnson County Tournament back on Tuesday night. They will take on Class 1A #2 Greenwood Christian who is led by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1386511' first='Max' last='Booher'] who is averaging 20.3 points per game for the 9-3 Cougars. [player_tooltip player_id='1578449' first='Noah' last='Reed'] is one to watch for them as well. Meanwhile, the Warriors feature four averaging in double figures as [player_tooltip player_id='1578388' first='Ethan' last='Edwards'], [player_tooltip player_id='1578410' first='Jaskirat' last='Banwait'], [player_tooltip player_id='1578394' first='Gavin' last='Stubbe'], and Wiatt Mclaughlin all average between 11.5 and 13.6 points per game. The second semifinal will pit the host Center Grove Trojans against rival Greenwood. Center Grove will certainly have the talent advantage in this one with sharp-shooting senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1158238' first='Joey' last='Schmitz'] and senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1547488' first='Will' last='Spellman'] leading the charge for the 7-4 Trojans.

Marion County Tournament

Class 4A #1 Lawrence North will put their undefeated 12-0 record on the line at Southport Fieldhouse against 8-3 North Central who has won five of their last six games. This matchup will feature two of the best backcourts in the state of Indiana as [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1158213' first='Kobi' last='Bowles'], [player_tooltip player_id='1275769' first='Myles' last='Baker'], and company take on [player_tooltip player_id='1297108' first='Rogelio' last='Rivera'], [player_tooltip player_id='1547429' first='Jaxson' last='Bell'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1547489' first='Tim' last='Williams']. Don't be surprised to see this one turn into a high-scoring affair. Then, Coach Criss Beyers will lead his Warren Central squad against the team he coached last year, the Franklin Central Flashes. Warren Central has won three straight and six of their last seven to move to 8-5 on the season while the Flashes have won four straight including Wendesday's upset over Ben Davis. 6'7" sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1552625' first='E.J.' last='Hazelett'] led the way in that one scoring 23 points. Watching him go against the likes of [player_tooltip player_id='2089932' first='Robert' last='Walker'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297060' first='Jevon' last='Guess'] in this one will be fun to watch. It is guaranteed to be a good night of hoops at the historic Southport Fieldhouse for these two Marion County Tournament semifinal matchups.
