June Preview: Kyler’s 2028 Players to Watch

Believe it or not, June basketball is just right around the corner which means we will be right back into high school play as summer kicks off. Spring AAU is wrapping up, and that means we look ahead to June where we will see our in-state prospects get back with their respective high school squads for a full month. For the week, we will look at some players for each class and position group as I give you my personal watch list for the month of June. Of course, every player we have in the state is a must-watch, but here are five players in the 2028 class that you should focus on just a little bit more, part two.    One of the top rising guards in the Indiana class of 2028 is [player_tooltip player_id='2538843' first='Braxton' last='Bowman'] of Crawford County. Bowman is a 6'0 guard that has had a strong spring season with Progeny being their top playmaker in many ways. He is a guard that plays with nice pace and one that can also find scoring opportunities for himself, as well. Crawford County is a team to watch just because of Bowman.     Zionsville has some real intriguing prospects coming up the ranks and one of them is shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2481826' first='Jesse' last='Craig']. Craig has been a bright spot on [program_tooltip program_id='2847679' first='Refined' last='Indiana'] this spring and should be one of the top players for the Eagles in June. He is an elite catch-and-shoot threat that can also put the ball on the floor and make plays in the lane as well. You should start to see a big rise in Craig this summer.     A wing with some of the bigger upside in the Indiana class of 2028 is [player_tooltip player_id='2539999' first='Bradley' last='Bode']. He is a versatile forward that can make plays both on the wing and around the basket. Bode is a smart player for his skill position and has a chance to be one of the best scorers in the 2028 class before his high school career comes to an end. He is an impact player on a talented HSE team.     One of the top frontcourt prospects in the Indiana class of 2028 is [player_tooltip player_id='2470787' first='Javontae' last='Eldridge'] out of Fort Wayne Wayne High School. He is a highly athletic player at 6'4 that makes him such a tough matchup on both ends of the floor. Right now is most impactful around the basket but has his high school career continues to take off, he could develop into more of a playmaking wing. Lot of raw upside in the Eldridge.     A under-the-radar center out of Evansville Bosse to keep an eye on this June is [player_tooltip player_id='2920004' first='Ben' last='Dillon']. He plays with one of the best motors you will find in a center in the 2028 class while being extremely physical in the low block as well. He is still a bit raw in many ways but is still so impactful as a center. Bosse will have a lot of guys have a chance to step up and Dillon is one of them.
