Here are four prospects that surpassed special scoring marks recently:
Wolinski passed the 1K mark in a game against rival Andover on January 12th. A true scoring guard, he’s one of the main reasons North Andover is off to an 8-2 start to begin the season. The MVP of this year’s Commonwealth Motor’s Classic, Wolinski can score at all three levels, but is especially dangerous in the mid-range and behind the arc. The lefty is a shotmaker through and through, and maybe more importantly (and impressively), isn’t afraid of the big momement. He’s added an element of playmaking off the bounce this year and is certainly one to keep an eye on the rest of this winter as he aims to help the Scarlet Knights get back to the MIAA Division I Final Four.
There’s not much more that can be said about Mills who passed the 1K mark during the HoopHall Prep Showcase last week. What came as a surprise was that he actually passed the 2K scoring mark with his 1K honor only representing the points that he has scored while at Brimmer & May. The nationally ranked prospect put on an absolute show at HoopHall scoring 52 points in his first game and following that up with 43 in his second. He’s as competitive a prospect as there is in the class and has put on a show every time he has stepped on the court this winter.

Bergmans, one of the VPA’s top guards this winter, passed the 1K mark in South Burlington’s game last night. A combo-guard that does a good job changing speeds and playing at his own pace, Bergmans has had no trouble scoring the basketball this winter. He’s particularly effective both behind the arc and around the rim, where he can utilize his size as a bigger guard to do damage. While not yet committed, he has a wide range of Division III interest in the northeast and would be a nice addition for any of the programs that are currently recruiting him.
Anthony Forte
Anthony Forte
Forte scored his 1,000th point in a January 9th win against Marblehead. The engine behind Peabody’s 11-2 start to the season, Forte is a dynamic scoring threat with the ball in his hands. He has a quick first step and a tight handle that allows him to slip through cracks in the defense. He puts a great amount of pressure on the rim in transition and isn’t afraid of contact at the rim. The lead guard can score from all three levels, is a solid distributor, and plays with a relentless motor.
Hughes, who checked in at #18 in our recently updated 2025 Rankings, scored his 1,000th point earlier this week. The big guard has taken his game to another level this winter and recently picked up offers from Brown and URI. He’s a great cutter with the ability to finish above the rim and through contact. He has good lift on his jumper which allows him to get his shot off against most defenders. And, he makes big plays when they count, having proven his scoring chops down the stretch of multiple close games this season.
