Marcus Dunbar | McKinley Tech ‘27
Dunbar is one of the more promising freshmen I’ve observed so far this season. He has ideal tools at 6’3″ with good athleticism. Dunbar has good body control and soft hands. He will rebound out of his area and is a relentless finisher. Dunbar posted 11 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals vs. Seton.
Simas Kacerauskas Simas Kacerauskas 6'4" | SF McLean | 2027 State VA | McLean ’27
Kacerauskas is an intriguing 6’4″ lefty to watch moving forward. He uses his size well when looking to establish position, and can finish with his weaker hand. Kacerauskas can be particularly disruptive on defense when deployed at the top of a zone.
Kevin McClinton Jr. Kevin McClinton Jr. 6'2" | CG Wakefield | 2027 State VA | Wakefield ’27
McClinton is a 6’2″ guard who looks like he could be a really good all-around player down the road. He posted a full line of 6 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 blocks vs. Oscar Smith. McClinton handles the ball well, attacks the gaps, and is a good ball distributor. He also evidently understands his defensive rotations.
Aidan McKeating Aidan McKeating 5'10" | SG Princess Anne | 2026 State VA | Princess Anne ’26
McKeating is the type of player who may not light up the scoring column, but impacts winning by doing all the dirty work. He recorded 3 rebouds, 4 assists, made 2/2 free throws, took 1 charge, had 2 floor-dives, 1 deflection, and 1 steal vs. McLean.
Philip Vander Woude | Seton ‘26
Vander Woude is a highly skilled guard who can score in a myriad of ways. He can finish with his left hand or shoot from the outside. Vander Woude has a right-to-left crossover that he goes to before pulling up. He also has a step back variation with that combo. Vander Woude exhibits a high basketball IQ and competes on both ends of the floor.
