Sutherland continues to remain an unsigned name in North Carolina’s 2024 class at United Faith Christian Academy. He’s a 6-foot-9 presence producing 7.9 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 1.7 BPG and 1.1 APG in the frontcourt this season. He’s a mobile presence who can operate inside and out with his ability to handle and make plays for others. He’s shown he can step out and shoot the ball more consistently this season as he’s shooting 40 percent from deep. He’s a prospect for DI and DII programs in the region to get eyes on soon given his size and pedigree around the rim.
Vazquez is a matchup nightmare for opposing players in the Wayne Country Day School rotation. He’s putting up 17.1 PPG and 8.5 RPG and has put together five double-doubles across 13 games for the Chargers. Though listed at just 6-foot-5, he plays a lot bigger than that given his production around the painted area. He’s proven to be a factor on both ends of the floor with his ability to defend and battle on the glass. He’s managed to put up at least 14 points in their last four games, all victories while attacking the mid-range and painted area. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs in the region to get to know.
Mabor is a sizeable big man still on the board in NC’s 2024 class and ranked inside the Top 100. He’s really improved his production around the painted area and become a double-double staple in the Gaston Christian School rotation this season. He’s averaging 17.7 PPG, 11.0 RPG, 2.4 BPG and 2.3 APG while posting 16 double-doubles in their 22 games. They’re 5-1 in Metrolina Conference action as they look to be a contender in the NCISAA 3A State Playoffs down the road. Mabor remains a name for DII programs to keep an eye on with potential to bloom as a potential DI prospect over the next few months as he develops as a two-way presence.
Rowe continues to draw the interest of JUCO programs as the midseason point approaches. He’s a wiry 6-foot-7 forward at Trinity Christian School who’s grown in the rotation with his efficiency around the painted area. He’s posted 16.6 PPG, 6.2 RPG and 2.3 APG at the wing/forward role for the Crusaders as they’re 12-4 currently and 4-0 in Sandhills Conference play. As he’s elevated his play, so have those around him, especially with the energy he plays with defensively and tracking balls on rebounds. He’s shooting 60 percent from the field and 39 percent from deep as he looks to show he can play at the next level. He’s a name for DII, DIII and JUCO programs in the region to track over the next few months.
Wisniewski is growing on the PH radar as a prospect with DII and DIII potential at Cary Christian on the NCISAA stage. He’s a 6-foot-5, 210 pound forward who’s showing he can hold his own on the interior as a rebounding presence and playmaker in the half court. He’s averaging 13.1 PPG, 9.5 RPG and 1.4 APG with five double-doubles recorded through their 12 games so far this season. While he’s also a standout on the football field at QB, he’s brought some of that play calling to the hardwood with his efficiency around the rim and passing ability out of the post. He’ll be a name to track over the next few months with the Knights at 1-1 in the Capital City Conference currently.
