Sharpe showed why he’s considered a top name already in North Carolina’s 2025 class and could have moved the needle even more following Reidsville High’s 3-0 run to the Devonte Graham Bracket Championship game. He’s a strong two-way backcourt presence who isn’t afraid to put pressure on opponents with his ability to score the ball. He produced 20.3 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 1.7 APG, 1.0 SPG and 1.0 BPG as a part of their three-headed monster. He shot 38.5 percent from deep and 48.8 percent from the field and went off for 24 points against Farmville Central to open things up for the Rams. They’re on a quest for a 2A State Title and they’ve already put the state on notice that they’re going to be tough to beat no matter the venue. He’s a name for DI programs in the region to get to know with his ability to operate at both guard roles.
Eli Ellis Eli Ellis 6’1″ | PG Moravian Prep | 2025 State NC and his Moravian Prep squad brought their 3-point shooting display to the John Wall Holiday Invitational, but it was anything but an easy outing for them. They fell to Christ School by nine points but he still managed to put together 27 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals. He had a rough shooting outing on the overall event as he went 38.6 percent shooting from the field and 21.4 percent shooting from deep but he certainly showed why he’s considered a top prospect in the 2025 class in the state. As he polishes his game and ability to make plays for others, he’ll be an intriguing guard to track at South Carolina in the SEC in a few seasons.
Ashton King Ashton King 6’4″ | CG Myers Park | 2025 State NC is starting to find his way in the Myers Park High rotation as a shooter and defensive presence as evidenced by his production in the John Wall Holiday Invitational. He was impressive in holding his own defensively and showed he could do more than score the basketball in producing six steals in their victory over Millbrook High. He posted 11.3 PPG, 2.7 APG, 2.0 RPG and 2.0 SPG on 55 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent shooting from behind the arc. He knocked down at least two 3-pointers in all three of their victories including a 3-of-4 outing against Garner High on the opening day. He’s starting to find his way as a playmaker and defender for DII programs in the region to get to know.

Langdon battled despite Millbrook High’s 1-2 finish in the John Wall Holiday Invitational. He knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer to lift them to their lone victory over Highland School on opening day as he finished with 18 points. They were overwhelmed by Myers Park’s depth but he still managed to finish with 15 points, seven rebounds and two steals. He finished with his best scoring outing against Moravian Prep in a 65-62 loss with 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks. He’s a playmaking forward that’s just scratching the surface of what he can do in the 2025 class.

MJ Williams MJ Williams 5’10” | SG Farmville Central | 2025 State NC continues to showcase his ability to run the show at the point guard spot while still maintaining his prowess as a scoring threat for the Farmville Central Jaguars. He finished with 13.7 PPG, 6.0 APG, 3.7 SPG and 3.0 RPG on 38.8 percent shooting from the field. He didn’t have his best shooting performance in the John Wall Holiday Invitational but he made up for it with his ability to make plays happen for others on offense. He notched a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists and nearly finished with a triple-double in snagging seven steals in their victory over Jordan High on the final day. He’s an aggressive defensive-minded floor general who DII and DIII programs in the region would be wise to start tracking.
