Highland Shootout: Top Missouri Performers

We continue our look at the event in <strong>Highland Shootout: Top Missouri Performers!</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1427981' first='Clayton' last='Jackson'] (Cardinal Ritter – 2024)<br></strong><br>It wasn't his biggest scoring game, but the go to player for Cardinal Ritter still scored 11 points despite his long ball not going down like it usually does.&nbsp; Most of his points game on mid-range jumpers and powerful drives to the rack.&nbsp; Shifty ball handler that can create on his own.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1552480' first='Trey' last='Williams'] (Vashon – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams was a stud for Vashon.&nbsp; The junior point guard can flat out shoot the rock draining 3-6 from beyond the arc.&nbsp; Smooth and fluid release every single time.&nbsp; Also did a nice job of getting to the line in this game putting pressure on the rim.&nbsp; Sound passer that continues to grow as a playmaker and is a solid defender especially in their press.&nbsp; Impressive stat line of 23 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1557386' first='Dehrio' last='McCaskill'] (Vashon – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The athleticism of McCaskill popped off the floor to anyone that saw their game against Richwoods.&nbsp; Super athletic wing that was bouncy throwing down a big dunk off the glass.&nbsp; Quick to the offensive boards with his second jump and overall high pointed rebounds.&nbsp; Transition athlete that can impact on both ends.&nbsp; He had 12 points (5-10 FG), 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1262562' first='Nassir' last='Binion'] (Vashon – 2024)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Binnion was the second leading scorer for the V in their game at Highland.&nbsp; Senior wing that can score it making trips to the foul line on drives downhill, pounding the offensive glass, and getting out in transition.&nbsp; He had 15 points (6-10 FG) and 9 rebounds in the win.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1422770' first='Nicholas' last='Randall'] (Vashon – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Randall is the highest ceiling prospect among the Vashon upperclassmen.&nbsp; The big man had a load on his hands going up against Sommerville.&nbsp; He shined in the 3^rd quarter of this game with an emphatic swat, put back, three off the catch, then a massive dunk.&nbsp; The size and athleticism really stands out as a front court player.&nbsp; Randall had 9 points (4-11 FG), 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1419873' first='Luke' last='Walsh'] (Vianney – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Walsh continues to post big numbers throughout his career for Vianney.&nbsp; The guard can really shoot it from the perimeter with a clean stroke hitting 3-6 from beyond the arc.&nbsp; We liked how he racked up the trips to the foul line where he was 11-12 and was excellent as a passer.&nbsp; Combo that can play on or off the ball.&nbsp; Rock solid guard that will play at the D1 level.&nbsp; He had 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1850525' first='Symon' last='Ghai'] (Vianney – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ghai is a super impressive young big man prospect.&nbsp; At 7'3” with an insane wingspan he has special physical gifts.&nbsp; On the first play he sealed and dunked like it was nothing.&nbsp; He has good mobility and moves well for his size.&nbsp; High level rebounder that was dominant on the glass against an undersized Whitney Young squad.&nbsp; Offensively he showed some skills knowing positioning and had touch around the basket on his short shots.&nbsp; Good free throw shooter as well going 4-4 from the line.&nbsp; Went for 20 points (8-10 FG) and 15 rebounds.&nbsp; Defensively he absolutely altered everything in the lane and can defend in space.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1790001' first='Eddie' last='Smajic'] (Vianney – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smajic is one of the better prospects in the Missouri 2026 class.&nbsp; His long ball wasn't falling so the broad shouldered wing took it to the rack over and over on straight line takes either scoring or getting fouled.&nbsp; He had 16 points (4-14 FG) and 3 dimes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1873552' first='Jahidi' last='White Jr'] (Chaminade – 2026)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>White is listed at 6'8” and has the wide body that made his dad a long time NBA vet.&nbsp; Physical low post player that had a couple sweet moves in the post including a fake one way going back the other for a right handed hook shot.&nbsp; Powerful finisher that has a nice spin and rebounds pretty well.&nbsp; Final line read 10 points (5-12 FG) and 7 rebounds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1557432' first='Jacob' last='Robinson'] (Chaminade – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Robinson provided some scoring off the bench for Chaminade.&nbsp; Shifty handle and good mid-range shooter that can stretch to three on occasion from his lead guard spot.&nbsp; He had 13 points (6-11 FG).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
