Centennial High Returns from Huntsville City Classic

Centennial High spent the final week of 2023 in Huntsville, Alabama competing in the Huntsville City Classic.

Carter Ezell Carter Ezell 6'4" | SG Centennial | 2026 State TN scored 17 points, including the game-winner.

Dominic Reed managed 22 and Daniel Patton Daniel Patton 6'7" | SF Cypress Falls | 2026 TX had 16.

Esteemed scout Garrett Tucker picked Dominic Reed and Carter Ezell Carter Ezell 6'4" | SG Centennial | 2026 State TN has two of his 15 "top performers from Day 1."

Eventual runners-up Austin High (AL) defeated Centennial in the quarterfinal clash, 42-37. Dominic Reed led the Cougars with 12 points. Carter Ezell Carter Ezell 6'4" | SG Centennial | 2026 State TN scored 10 points and senior Taner Lee contributed 8 points.

CHS salvaged the event with a 52-48 victory over Bob Jones (AL) Friday. Dominic Reed scored 24 points while Taner Lee helped with 12 points and Avery Pauley managed 4.
