in action and he was fun to watch as he dominated the interior and controlled the boards for Cy Falls in a 48-37 win over Cy Ridge on the road. Patton came away with 22 points and 15 boards in the statement victory and has been a big part of the Eagles winning tough games all season and having an undefeated finish in district. Daniel recently has gotten offers from SFA and LA Tech and is almost certainly a future D1 prospect. Patton has a good motor on both ends and has a strong IQ that he uses to will his team to win.

was during the GASO Houston Fall Tour, where his high-energy play immediately caught my attention. As a highly active interior presence, Daniel relentlessly pursues the ball after it leaves the rim. His infectious passion for the game motivates his teammates positively, boosting the team’s morale. Offensively, he effectively backs down his opponents in the post, creating clear scoring opportunities at the basket. Additionally, he demonstrates his mid-range shooting prowess by making short-range jumpers. Notably, during the game against Stratford High School, Daniel’s 18 points were instrumental in securing a victory for Cypress Falls High School. Daniel has recently picked up offers from SFA and Louisiana Tech this month!

played a significant role in Cy Falls’ interior defense during the GASO Fall Tour in Houston. He was actively involved on both ends of the floor, carrying a substantial workload in the rebounding department at times. Defensively, he protected the rim by influencing opposing players’ decision-making when he was present in the interior and blocking multiple shots. Offensively, he has a smooth touch around the rim, finishing easy opportunities when he creates from the post and in transition rim running. When attempting to finish plays at the rim, he often draws a lot of contact, resulting in multiple trips to the free throw line.

is a skilled high-post facilitator who sparked offense early in possessions by forcing defensive rotations. Patton consistently extended plays with his effort on the glass, high-pointing rebounds and creating second-chance opportunities. A glue-guy frontcourt presence with playmaking instincts.

6/17/25: Wonderful wing height. Patton probably plays small forward in college but sees a lot of time with Centennial under the tin. Patton’s shooting touch helps him attack from a variety of points on the floor. Daniel is a strong guy, both upper and lower body, which is somewhat rare for taller teenagers still growing into their bodies.
