He was slowed down a bit early in the game as he took a knee to the leg but he shook it off and shadowed Reiser all night and just made it difficult for him to get loose. The impressive thing about his defense is that his only jog was to stay in-front. He did not gamble or try and steal the ball, he was just a shadow and he did a great job. The crazy thing about his high level defense was that he did not get into foul trouble all while being very active on the glass and in the paint. The ability to switch from 1-5 at the high school level really is a game changer and that is what Jaxon brings to the table. Last night they went to him a few times and he had great looks. Olympus has a few screen the screener and Dutch got open butthe pressure on the ball made that pass late or they did not see him. If you throw in a roll from the second screener you will give more options to get layups or open looks for Dutch. Getting him the right matchup could really help him get comfortable out in the perimeter.
