The 43rd Annual Beach Ball Classic has been a staple on the Grand Strand for many years being played at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Let’s take a look at some of the action on the final day right here with the Youngsters. The future looks very bright for these young men moving forward.
Osaruyi was able to slash to the cup here today for the Scorpions. He showed a really nice touch on the foul line when he was able to get to there. Osaruyi connected on some short jumpers from 8-10 feet. He always made himself available away from the ball and always looked to be active on both ends of the court.
Mayom has great length and range out on the perimeter. He defended a post here most of the day but, he turned to the wing on the offensive end of the floor. He connected on several three-pointers from downtown. Mayom will fill the lane in transition and at times was able to challenge and alter shots out on the perimeter. Mayom and Osaruyi give the Scorpions a nice 1-2 punch in the Arizona 2027 class.
Hayes plays the game with such a fearless mindset. He plays the game with a good feel and maturity already for his young age. Issak was able to touch the paint and get the ball into the gaps at times today. Hayes plays the game with a lot of confidence and swagger already for his age. He will take and make tough shots and he surely wants the ball in his hands down the stretch.
Jordan Fisher
Jordan Fisher
Fisher was a nice surprise to start the morning off here at the Beach Ball Classic. Jordan the younger brother of Elijah Fisher (DePaul) was a bull in a China shop at times. Jordan has a football frame and plays so much bigger than his size at times. He’s a physical player who fends off defenders with his body. He’s built like a linebacker and really looks to get downhill at times with the ball.
