Continue ReadingWinitana is at a small school but he has a big game. He is putting up over 11 PPG and his team is playing a semi challenging schedule and seeing him matchup against some of the better guards in the state that are older he is holding his own. Winitana is explosive off the bounce and that quick first step allows him to get to the rim. He will add more explosion on his finishes in time but he has been playing well and he is a good prospect in the Class of 2027. He will be off the radar for some but we know he can ball regardless where he is playing.
Highlights
Tia is getting minutes here and there and although his team hasn’t had a lot of success this year they are building with some elite young players and Tia is a player that will be in the conversation of players that will improve and expand their game this year and moving forward. He has done some good things and he has a lot of potential left in his game.
Sleeper kid in the class that is oozing potential. In a few games that we have seen him hit the floor for Cottonwood he has played well and he has played within himself. He has some size and on a team where their tallest player is likely their best guard as well it helps to have a player like him that can provide more size to their rotation. He is a player we will keep an eye on for sure.
It is always imprssive to see players get into the rotation when they play on a team that is heavy on guard and in their position. That is what Tobler is doing he is getting in and doing some good things. Next season he should get a lot more minutes and likely surpass some of the older players from what we are seeing.
Highlights
Timpanogos will lose a few good players due to graduation and Harris could be a player to pick things up moving forward. Descent size at guard and he will grow some more but he knows how to score and he plays the right way.
Highlights
Urban is playing well and representing fo rthe small schools as well. He is putting up over 11 PPG and he is also doing a lot of stat stuffing. He is a do it all lead guard that can also rebound and set up his teammates. Off the ball in help he has great IQ and has been playing well helping off the ball. We will keep an eye on him over at Draper APA.
Oyler has been playing well and he has been getting some run on varsity. He is well known for what he does beyond the arc but he has been improving his overall game, especially his defense. He is playing smart defense and his footwork and timing have been apparent. He is a future all-around player developing over at AF behind some really talented players.
Highlights
Fotheringham has been able to get in games and he is playing well when he is on the floor. Very smart to get a kid like him some varsity experience and he has size and shooting ability which is always a plus, especially if you have a big fella that can attract more defenders.
