Gabriel Sularski Gabriel Sularski 6'6" | SF Lemont | 2026 State IL (Benet)
Current Ranking: #1
Sularski is a pretty clear choice for the top spot in the 2026 class at this stage. He has everything you could ask for in a wing. Size, skill, athleticism, and playmaking. Sularski is an effective scorer from all three levels that has an elite jumper raining them in from both two and three with elevation off the floor. Plus athlete that scores on straight line takes and in transition with crisp handles. High level playmaker from his small forward spot as an excellent passer with advanced feel for his age. Gritty rebounder that sneaks in for put backs and is a plus defender that knows how to use his length. The most impressive thing about Sularski is even when he isn’t scoring, he impacts winning.
Jamson Coulter Jamson Coulter 6'2" | SG Rich Township | 2026 State IL (Rich Township)
Current Ranking: #5
Coulter is a strong and physical bucket getter! The Rich Township sophomore is one of the premier scorers in the state. He has slimmed down a bit since the summer which has helped his explosiveness. Loves to play bully ball off the bounce putting his head down and willing his way to the cup. When he gets a head of steam behind him he is almost impossible to cover. Pretty comfortable shooting it in the mid-range with a quick flick of the wrist.
Andre Tyler Andre Tyler 6'4" | SG Simeon | 2026 State IL (Simeon)
Current Ranking: #8
Tyler is one of the more projectable wing prospects in the class. Long and rangy wing that has prospect written all over him. Explosive transition athlete and slasher that loves to play above the rim. Like the potential he has as a shooter with a clean looking shooting stroke. Simeon is at its best when he is cooking!
Lincoln Williams Lincoln Williams 6'5" | SF Kankakee | 2026 State IL (Kankakee)
Current Ranking: #9
Williams is a long and lanky wing that has a lot of projectability. Crisp ball handler that that can slice up the defense in the half court and/or transition. Clean jumper especially off the catch. Like how fast he turns defense into offense as he is consistently getting steals and taking them the other way for scores in the open floor. Lot of upside here with Williams!
Jaden Schilb (Champaign Centennial)
Current Ranking: #11
Schilb is emerging as one of the top prospects in central Illinois. We evaluated him a pair of times during the first half of the season. In his game against Morton, Schilb got in early foul trouble and then went off to try to bring his team back. Nifty euro steps, sweeping layups, and slick takes over and over. Then his step back got going as he poured in one after another. Athletic scorer that has developmental upside!
Amir Danforth Amir Danforth 6'1" | SG Rockford Auburn | 2026 State IL (Rockford Auburn)
Current Ranking: #12
Danforth is related to former top Auburn prospect and current Houston Rockets guard Fred Van Vleet. The sophomore is making his own impact at Auburn with his perimeter shot making which has a ton of arc on it. Good transition player and can defend both backcourt spots.
Cameron Mercer Cameron Mercer 6'2" | SG Riverside Brookfield | 2026 State IL (Riverside Brookfield)
Current Ranking: #13
Mercer has come on strong as a junior. The sophomore two guard is a smooth multi level scorer that can drain threes from both mid-range and three. Good ball skills and has creativity with the ball in his hands. Good IQ and feel for the game and has shown secondary passing ability. Tools to be a good defender.
Mason Lockett (Oswego East)
Current Ranking: #14
Locket is a long and rangy wing with a lot of upside. Smooth with the ball in the open floor and has such a feathery jumper that you think it is going down every single time it leaves his hands. Versatile defender that can check either wing spot.
Charles Barnes (De La Salle)
Current Ranking: #15
Barnes is a long and rangy wing that brings potential on both ends of the floor. He is a plus defender with his length that can check both wings and smaller big men. Active getting in passing lanes and swats shots. Offensively he can hit an occasional three, but is at his best attacking from the mid-post in with his quickness.
Oliver Gray Oliver Gray 6'3" | SF Barrington | 2026 State IL (Barrington)
Current Ranking: #16
Gray doesn’t get talked about a lot at Barrington, but this kid can go! First and foremost he is among the better three point shooters in the class. Kid is automatic from three off the catch and moves really well without the ball. More than just a shooter however as he is slick with the ball in his hands being able to attack close outs. Has potential to be an excellent all-around wing down the line.
Nasir Rankin Nasir Rankin 6'2" | SG Whitney Young | 2026 State IL (Whitney Young)
Current Ranking: #17
Rankin was co-MVP of the Pangos All-Star game back in the fall and has followed that up by being a consistent presence for the Dolphins off the bench. Strong and athletic two sport star is shining with his toughness, athleticism, and instincts. Sound shooter and is a force in transition.
Davon Grant Davon Grant 6'5" | SF Dekalb | 2026 State IL (Dekalb)
Current Ranking: #18
Grant is a dual sport star that might end up playing football in college, but has D1 hoops potential. Well built lefty small forward that at 6’5” plays taller than that with his length and toughness. Can guard wings and bigs. Plus rebounder that gets buckets off his energy and can post up smaller wings. Flashes as a shooter.
Josh Abushanab Josh Abushanab 6'5" | SF Glenbard North | 2026 State IL (Glenbard North)
Current Ranking: #21
Abushanab is a big wing with strength that has upside. He is at his best when he is knocking down shots from the perimeter. All the physical tools are there to be a D1 prospect, just waiting for him to put it all together.
Karson Thomas Karson Thomas 6'4" | SF Lincoln Way East | 2026 State IL (Lincoln Way East)
Current Ranking; #23
Thomas is a powerfully built small forward that attacks downhill with force. Plus athlete that can score from multiple levels and impact defensively. Really improved as a jump shooter which has taken his game to the next level.
Mickeis Johnson Mickeis Johnson 6'3" | SG Romeoville | 2026 State IL (Romeoville)
Current Ranking: #29
Johnson is a strong and athletic two guard that works well in the mid-range. Scores with a plus jumper from 15-18 feet and is a physical downhill slasher that makes plays in transition.
Gage Peterson Gage Peterson 6'6" | SF Waltonville | 2026 State IL (Waltonville)
Current Ranking: #30
Peterson is one of the best kept secrets in the state. The small school wing from southern Illinois can really score from all three levels. At 6’4” he puts smaller/weaker wings in the post, killer mid-range game, and is an above average three point shooter. Rebounds with grit.
