[player_tooltip player_id='1576114' first='Dietrich' last='Richardson'] (Peoria Manual)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #8

We saw Richardson play late in the high school season with Manual where he showed some flashes, but nothing to insinuate he would become a top 10 player in the class. Our staff didn't see him all summer as he was hidden on the grassroots circuit. Then the buzz came this fall about how he had grown to 6'6” and become more of a lead guard. We saw him four times in the first half with the best showing coming in a game at Pontiac where he displayed an all-around game with size that really intrigues!

[player_tooltip player_id='2321396' first='EJ' last='Horton'] (Phillips)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #24

Horton moved to Illinois from Florida and our staff has taken notice of what he did early in the season. Our scouts Reggie Bates and Steve Parham have both been impressed with what they saw. The lefty plays with a high motor. Very athletic guard that shoots it well. Putting up numbers this season for Phillips.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598658' first='Blake' last='Fagbemi'] (Benet)

Previous Ranking: #73
Current Ranking: #52

Fagbemi has been a rock for Benet this season. His brother ran the show on a team that made it to the state title game and this junior is looking to take it one step further. Off the charts IQ and feel for the game. Runs the team with sound decisions while picking his spots to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105209' first='Reid' last='Olson'] (Niles North)

Previous Ranking: #88
Current Ranking: #60

Olson is a combo guard that can play both on and off the ball. Right now his biggest value comes in his shot making from deep. High level shooter that has range out to the volleyball line (literally).

[player_tooltip player_id='2319792' first='Elijah' last='Daugherty'] (Rockford Christian)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #79

Liked what we saw from Daugherty when we saw him during the first half of the season. Pass first guard that gets his teammates involved while also finding his spots to score. Good feel and understanding of how to run a team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2321401' first='Ashton' last='Grieves'] (Metamora)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #80

Grieves put his name on our radar with a strong first half of the season for Metamora. With so many high level weapons they just need a lead guard that will put them in position to succeed. Enter Grieves! The coaches son shows a lot of the qualities you typically see with the son's of coaches being an extension of them on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2321405' first='Lucas' last='Melendez'] (Ridgewood)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #94

Melendez absolutely lit up the nets when we saw him at the Ridgewood Shootout. The 5'11” lead guard dropped 37 points in that game on a variety of floaters, crisp mid-range shots, and threes off movement. More than just a scorer as he can pass it as well. Dual sport star has arrow pointing up!

[player_tooltip player_id='1874696' first='Cooper' last='Hoffman'] (Pecatonica)

Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #103

Hoffman is a small school player that sees the floor as a passer, hits tough shots from the perimeter, and mixes in straight line takes for scores at the rack. Competitive guard with sneaky athleticism.
